From our perspective the earth is definitely flat. Since curvature and axial rotation are unobservable from the ground, the globe is no different than any other religious belief.

It's already been done on 2p2. I'm pretty sure the OP got banned. No biggie. Anyone interested can just watch the moon for a couple lunar cycles or look up russianvids on youtube.

Sorry to derail this thread. Only thing I meant to say is that Bill Nye's show is god-awful and should definitely NOT be shown to any preteens unless you want to pollute their minds with pseudo science and satanism.
