Visualizing Nic Cage going "huh? huh? huh?" complete with Dr. Evil hand-closes is pretty great.

Are there squares or anything for the NCAA Footbaw Championship game running anywhere? Will the new owners shut stuff like that down or try to wet their beaks?

wtf is the el diablo forum... just gone? why? I was trying to find an old ski video where this dude goes nuts on the trails and ends up flying in the gondola at the last second. It was in the ski thread in edf, which no longer exists.

seems to be a couple of edits mixed in there, but yeah that's pretty amazing.

On this, the day of Tom Brady's retirement, let's all take a moment to appreciate the greatest roast ever written.

Quote:
1) Tom Brady is known as a fearless leader, but he really followed Aaron Hernandez's lead on how to withhold incriminating evidence from the authorities.

2) Tom expects us to believe it was just a coincidence he texted those ball boys, for the first time in 6 months, the day after Deflategate broke. Come'on Tom, Aaron Hernandez's story was more plausible.

3) 3.2 million people have liked Tom's Facebook page, which coincidentally works out to one like for every lie he's told Roger Goodell.

4) As good-looking as Tom is, in this day & age, you'd figure the one thing he'd know how to do is handle balls.

5) When you think about it, maybe Tom doesn't deserve to be suspended. Sure. He mishandled his balls, but the rest of the NFL manhandles women.

6) Tom, how many times have you had to ask Coach Belichick to stop sending Matt Walsh into your home to secretly record you and Giselle having sex?

7) Tom has 4 super bowl rings, he's married to a supermodel, millions of women want to **** him. He has everything, including the common sense not to take every commercial he's offered. Peyton Manning could learn a thing or two. He's stuck in the 80s. He still thinks overexposure has something to do with camera film.

8) Tom, you're a pretty boy, and your wife makes more than you do. You're the one during sex who just lays there, aren't you?

and I posted this one earlier...

9) Tom Brady is ****ing slow. He runs a 5.28 40-yard dash. The only person in Boston with a worse time was Odin Lloyd the night he tried to get away from Aaron Hernandez.

Those are... ok? Lots of the Hernandez stuff that doesn't really have to do with Brady, although an Urban Meyer "roast" - which would really just be a stunning indictment of him in particular and college sports in general - would be funny/rage.

But the line with his four rings, posted in 2015, and he's got seven at the end of the 2021 season... that's nuts. I remember when it was a legit debate between him and Peyton for GOAT, and that's been totally blown by (Tebow threw a playoff game-winning pass, is how far we've come).

"Adam Schefter Breaks Down Tom Brady's Decision To Retire" Actual ESPN headline

Oh, Schef has been up all day just eating tape? He's gonna break it down, frame by frame, give us the fresh-squeezed innards of something everyone can see but only he can toss in a bowl with some chicken bones and the blood of a PR intern or two and let us know exactly what TB12 was thinking?
01-29-2022 , 07:40 PM
Schefter making **** up again? Being denied by Brady’s camp that a decision has been made.
01-29-2022 , 07:46 PM
This is a very bad day for Schefter if this story wasn’t actually solid.

The Apostle A. Scheft

Has anyone went from reputable insider to total hack quicker than Schefter?
01-29-2022 , 09:07 PM
He was always a hack. I never liked him and I'm an excellent judge of character.

Schefter gets us more Brady, you love to see it.
01-29-2022 , 11:16 PM
Like posters who leave 2p2 not by announcing their departure, but simply by departing, QBs who don't play farewell tour seasons are superior human beings to those who do play farewell tours.

Of course, if this was just shitty reporting, it's all on Schefter and it's not Brady's fault. But now, in order to maintain cultural superiority, if Brady comes back then he absolutely has to leave it open-ended like he might play multiple seasons longer.
