Failed Ice Attempt last night. Went to league poker, brought my work bag, complete with Ice in it with a handwritten "ICED" note on it, then set it up so to ask a friend to go grab my phone out of my bag for me while I was playing a hand. He brought me my bag and said he could not find it, completely oblivious to the icing.

I can't decide if he's uncool for not knowing about icing, or if I'm a dork for knowing and trying it on him.

Temporarily came out of retirement this morning to capitalize on a very lucrative ice opportunity, , The set up was perfectly ironic. First I waited for him to wake up and once he went to the fridge to grab some water [boom] there's the very ice he tried to get me with, sitting on the top shelf right where he left it.

It seems like a great day for some icing, no?

I recently put in my two weeks notice at work and my last day is tomorrow. I cleaned out 3.5 years worth of crap from my cube, and noticed a perfect three-ring binder:

The ICE fit perfectly into the rings. All I had to do was slip in a fake cover that said something along the lines of "Message Testing 2008" and leave the binder on my visitor chair. Guess who came strolling in shortly afterward? My VP sees the binder and goes, "Oh nice, what's this?" I say, "Oh, I was cleaning out my cube and found this. You should take a look. There is some stuff we could still probably use."

Yeah, my VP is an ultimate bro. They better allow icing at my new job. Maybe I should ice my new boss on my very first day...

I still have half a day left, though. My VP's 3 year old daughter is in the office today. Would it be bush league to give her an ice and have her deliver it to her father?

My boss is a homosexual, and he thinks the icings between the VP and me is silly and immature. He doesn't get why we think it's so funny.

So in conclusion, icing is not gay. I hope this puts this issue to rest.

solids, just the icing or drinking in general?

I can't really imagine a boss thinking drinking in the office was "silly and immature," but not grounds for termination. It seems like something he would openly permit and participate in or something he would prohibit, not something he would just "frown upon."
