I haven't done a form-1 in a while but am about to send 2 off. They usually go through much much faster than form 4.

I got my ddm4 in PDW pistol format... so as soon as that suckered comes back I am swapping out that brace for a SBR brace which I already have.

Looking forward to finding private land to shoot on again. Tannerite and this rifle make a fun combo.

Don't assemble them yet of the ATF will come to your house and shoot your dog

Put that safety on son!!! Classic Bushmaster! Great rifle

It has been very good to shoot. It was unloaded at the time, but yes, safety on before adding a magazine.

I guess I'm pro gun (I don't own one) but I can do without seeing the kills. I dunno, maybe I'm a pussy.

So with the minimal traffic on these forums these days is this forum just going to be taken over by traffic in this gun thread? Prefer not to open Tapatalk and OOT and see a photo of a rifle.

Given gun owners/NFA is more of a historic thing these days throw it in History?

Most gun accidents start with "unloaded" guns

Just wait til deer season. Texas Parks and Wildlife mandates we shoot 55 deer (35 doe and 20 bucks) to maintain our MLD permit

That sounds like a ton of work having to haul out 55 corpses from wherever. Or do they just come right around your house and you plink then there?

We try our best to get the majority of them in a weekend and Hunters for the Hungry leaves a refrigerated truck on the property to put the deer. All the meat is donated. Here in TX the whitetail population is pretty dense and the ranch is nearly 10k acres so it isn't too difficult. Additionally, we have a hunt with the Navy Seal Foundation on that weekend. Those guys (obviously) are good at making kills.

I would think any traffic is better than no traffic.

Guns are very much a current topic, not historical, regardless of the number of people who wish they were history.

How is NFA a historic thing? Please explain how you reached this conclusion. I would be very interested

That’s exactly how my house is set up. I’d give them 10 seconds to leave

How old were your kids when you started them shooting?

We do airsoft in backyard at 5, 22’s at 9

1. What’s NFA
2. If any of you have children, I’m curious how you feel about the decision to dramatically increase your family’s probability of being killed by a firearm by having one in your house?

Thank you! Lost some relevance from 10 years ago but can’t be bothered to change it. I’m curious why you don’t have one. I could provide some suggestions if you like…

This topic does not belong in OOT and can’t be separated from politics.
