Why would you think I want to insult someone? Also, did you take 27off seriously when he said I was contained? Not sure what I said here to get contained. Can you point to some posts I've made that make me ban worthy?

Also, why do you think I'm not ok mentally?

No, I don't know him well really. He seems to pick on me a lot and I have no clue why. I don't know him tho. Why?

Probably the lack of humor

I must say all these examples of so-called frugal behaviour isn't really frugal behaviour it is just being a smart customer (getting deals done, buying products at the best possible price, shopping around etc) - being frugal is bottom of the barrel stuff it is like using minimal power in the house (like having one or 2 lights on and switching everything off at the wall), it is like having 2 to 3 min showers, and my favourite using neutral in my car down a hill or towards traffic lights to save fuel Frugality.

Anyone who has long showers while there is a drought is a bit of a prick really, then by the end of it you should be used to having short showers.

Drought? There's plenty of water coming outta that showerhead!

Here's an example of the USA#! government at its frugal best:

I was on a ship in the Navy and we were ordered to take 45 second showers.
15 seconds to water ourselves down, turn off water, soap up, 30 seconds to rinse off.
NEXT!!!!

You're on a roll. Your gf spent more money on clothes in a day that i do in 6 months.

Dude I disagree with him. I'm saying that in my circles anyway, olive garden gets **** on, it's not completely horrible but it certainly isn't great by most peoples standards. I also said anybody that can read a recipe and has patience can easily surpass their quality at home.

Poppunk is troll/and or idiot.

Personally I think it's BS to call any addiction a disease; it's just a way to make disgusting drug addicts feel better about themselves. I guess I could have the addiction "disease", but it doesn't matter because I don't indulge in addictive substances.
And just when I thought nobody could surpass poppunk as the biggest dumbass in the thread

Whenever the only negative response anyone has to something I say is name calling, that pretty much confirms that it was correct.

I'm not meaning to derail this thread further though, the only reason I posted that to begin with was in response to an attack by one member here on another, who had made a comparison I agreed with.

Your post about addiction just shows you don't know much about it but that's not big deal. Think of a person with OCD. They just HAVE to wash their hands, or flip a switch 10 times when they turn a light on, or clean an entire room, ect. Addiction is a lot like that in it's behavioral mechanism.

There's just this itch that you have to scratch and if you don't engage in that compulsive behavior it's just gnaws and gnaws at you until you cave and flip that switch tens times or drink 10 beers in a row. There's a lot more going on in them scientifically but that's probably the best way to describe those compulsion, your brain and emotional system just keep on pushing you and pushing you until you bend to it's will. It's almost like you're possessed in a way.

You're right tho, it's not a disease. It's basically programming of the brain and emotional system. Until you change that programming you a robot programmed to engage in that behavior.

Well you're both wrong.

Rob it's so complicated I'm not wasting my time on explaining it to somebody who obviously hasn't done any proper research. So there for, you're a dumbass

Duuude....

Your post was incredibly judgmental. This forum is full of high functional, very interesting drug users or people who have used in the past. Majority of this people deal a lot better with life than you do. Tuma had somewhere a very good post about good reasons to use drugs. I will see when I have some time if I can dig it out.

Less judgment!

chillrob is one of those guys I've noticed posting really poorly for like a year, but is someone I'm not comfortable making fun of or calling out because he seems so sad.

Posts like that make me kinda not give a **** though. Stop being a miserable judgmental *******, easy peasy right?

Yeah I mean from my perspective I used to work in a bottle shop and some regulars would always just come in and buy a 6 pack and when you saw them nearly every time you worked you would ask some of them why they just wouldn't buy a carton at a time (as it is way cheaper) and they'd usually say that they would drink the whole thing in one sitting. So they knew they had a vice and this was one way to control it.

Lapka, Fabian,

While you’re both totally correct about Rob he’s just such a sad sack with narrow views how could you give more than half a **** whether he post or not?

FWIW I did rebut Rob before name calling and he waved it off so he’s one of those guys who wants it both ways and both those ways usually suck for everyone involved
