Great job guys.

Pretty sick tilt by the anchor too.

Link's here - shows a guy putting a gun to his head then falling over, that's about all you can see in terms of graphic-ness.

not to defend fox news, but you might note that the title should say "fox news inadvertently broadcasts a suicide live on the air after dude involved in high speed car chase gets out of car and kills himelf"

people love watching car chases, myself included, which is why they're often on TV

people don't love watching suicides

Sick stuff, but I suppose it was difficult to stop showing that live on air, it was over before you realised what was going on.

Do your feelings about this (in terms of what Fox showed) change if he takes a shot at the cops and they drop him?

I'm not a fan of seeing people die. Ick.

While we're editing thread titles, can LOL DIDS be in the title too?

I am not a fan of cops getting shot at so this is my preferred outcome.

I like ripping on Fox news as much as the next guy, but unless there's some protocol across all networks to tape delay this sort of thing or you just don't think cases should be on air at all, I don't see how you can fault them. The anchor was obviously horrified, people in the studio yelled and they instantly cut away.

People want to bitch about the title change or other moderation, go do it in ATF. I'm sure nutshot will have a gimmick with a thread started there shortly anyway.

If your post was deleted once, that's probably an indication you shouldn't make it again.

The true coward becomes accustomed to their miserable life and never makes any attempt to change it.

They are supposed to always be on a 5 second delay, and blew it.

Don't know anything about whether the presenter is a known fool or not but he handles it really well imo. Usually public apologies come off as horribly insincere.
