Interstate 75 N -> Interstate 94 exchange E and Westbound.
I think this is an unusually unsafe driving space. People fly up i75 and hit the i94 exchange at high speeds. The merge is quick and is a downward sloping hill - the main problem is the rode is curved and there are trees also in the way, making it impossible to judge traffic. If someone is driving fast and unaware in the right-hand lane from i75 it becomes a game of luck not getting killed.
My initial thought is the trees should be cut down at minimum. There is a tiny sign indicating that cars will be merging, but there should be more.
I could write my congressman and watch nothing happen. What else can be done? The last time I merged onto i94 west from the i75 service ramp was the only time I've been scared as a driver, and will not be driving there ever again.
Do posters familiar with Detroit have an opinion? Am I off base, or should I keep going?
(The blue road is what is in question. There is only a few hundred feet to get up to highway speed, and is fenced in. It is on a steep bank as well.)
