Same with my apartment unit. The non-vent machines take ****ing forever.

They isnt the same.

Adam is talking to Steve about Bob and he says "we should go to a bar sometime". In indonesia, apparently, you have specific words for whether "we" means Steve, Adam and Bob, or just Adam and Bob. Clearly "they should go to a bar sometime" makes no sense.

I dunno if we need to complex up one of the most complex languages by having another "we", but it is theoretically advantageous. Unlike the female, male and neutral nouns that exist in German and French which is just completely 100% dumb.

that's not universal here, varies from place to place

well yeah, the morrison's ones are terrible but most other places are ok - they're somewhat useful if you're only buying a very small number of things that don't require someone to check it off anyway (i.e. booze). now if only they could incorporate that contactless payment via rfid that my card supposedly does that i've never seen anywhere accept

and yeah, that whole americans not including tax in the listed price thing i found incredibly ******ed

Taking shoes off when inside so you don't track dirt and disease everywhere.

24:00 time instead of lol AM/PM.

Vehicle registration stickers being affixed to the interior of the windshield, complete with scannable code.

The shoes-off rule is clearly and obviously correct.
