Let's say the earth is actually flat and you guys know it.
What is the benefit/payoff to letting other people know? What happens once the folks at NASA are exposed?
Basically what gets accomplished when you convince everyone the world is flat?
Essentially their entire belief system relies on the earth being flat.
In their eyes a FE would prove there was a creator and that the magic man in the sky is real.
Admitting the earth is round is admitting the bible is wrong, hence all logic goes out the window and undeniable proof is ignored.
Another part is the need to feel 'special' as they have underachieved in every other aspect of their life. This is where the LV theories come from and is much less forgivable and should get them both banned imo
