I eat way too much bread. Usually eat 2 slices with breakfast, 2 with lunch and maybe another one of two with dinner. On average I'd say 500 of my ~1500 cals/day come from white bread.

Has anyone here ever tried cow milk?

Lapka, I’ll be in Germany in a couple of weeks: specifically Munich.

Wouldn't drink it straight, but I do put some in my Reese's cereal every morning.

Cereal?

Speaking of height, weight, the metric and imperial systems I am pretty much the same amount in centimeters and lbs.

definitely drop me a message. I don't promise anything, but it would be totally fun a Starbucks meet-up in RL

Not everything at once. Start small. Test how the reaction will be. And sometimes, actually more often than not I have a feeling that it is better not to ask. May be I won't like the answer or it could lead to a discussion that I plain don't want to have.

edit: actually now, that I am thinking of it, the biggest stop is that I don't want to cross to deep any boundaries. probably it is true for everyone here.

lapka I met up with Howard a little while ago and it was totally worthwhile and not awkward, he's very engaging. I predict you would be happy you did it.

Did anybody else get this flu? I've been flat on my back since Saturday. Fever has gone away but I still feel like I've been hit by a truck. Started Tamiflu immediately when symptoms initially presented, I feel like I would have been even sicker without it.

Lapka,

I first met up with Howard a few years ago and regret it to this day.

Take the peanut butter sandwiches from 27, they are great!

I got it a few months ago and it kicked the **** out of me for 4 days, then it was mostly gone tho. Drank a ton of water and orange juice.

I met up with Howard not too long ago and while he repeatedly tried to pull me into a free will vs determinism debate, he made up for it by losing credit card roulette and buying me a nice sushi dinner. Also, he is a ton of fun in general and a joy to be around. I've met quite a few 2p2ers and he's definitely at the top of 2p2's range. You guys would have a great time hanging out.

who's at the bottom?

Lapka, I took the required one course in bio, chem, and physics in high school. The extent of my scientific knowledge is that mitochondria are the power plants of cells, iodine turns dark blue when it come in contact with starch, and the speed of light is about 300,000km/s. I assume that's pretty much all there is to know.

Greg, would you kindly write us a short piece on cosmology, specifically the impending heat death of the universe? Other 2p2ers have promised me that and have failed, and I’m counting on you to fill the breach.
02-13-2018 , 01:37 PM
You forgot to add that gravity is -9.8m/s, squared of course.

I think last time it was as mlylt had to write a paper and had shockingly no clue even with what to start. And I think you were one of the guys who showed significantly more insight in paper writing process. I was completely sure that you did write one at some point in your life.

P.s I have to get better grip on tapatalk.

Howard, you're in luck. I read that Brief History of Time book when it came out so I'm basically a cosmetologist myself.
Lapka, it is true that I have written papers before, but unlike MLY, none for publication.

Cosmetology: the study of the universe when it was the size of a hair

A Brief History of Time was a fraud. I mean, it wasn't all that brief. If I remember correctly it took me several hours to read. If the author couldn't get the meaning of "brief" correct who knows how much else he screwed up.

I think you missed the post were boss^2 replied, "This is perfect!"

Not that I had no clue where to start. I of course have had to write many papers, reports ,procedures. I just don't like doing it because I have to check everything 3 times and it takes a long time for me to write things.

Any IT guys here that can tell me what just happened.

First: I get a message from my Outlook that says-"Allow this website to configure xxxx.xxxx@xxxxx.com(my bosses email) server settings"

Second: I am completely locked out of my email and my companies webpage and shared drives.

Third: I restart my computer and when I tried to logging it said "This account is blocked"

I waited a bit and I could could log back on and now have access again.

Why would my bosses email be popping up in that message and what the heck happened.
