Idk how a halftime show like that even gets on tv. BEP were awful but it was awful in a way I could understand. The only explanation for this is that someone thought the Super Bowl's most important demographic is aging transexuals.

Lastly I'm going to add a certain amount of sexism exists in a mostly all male poker forum ...it's just the way it is. Racism, even "funny" racism generally isn't tolerated anywhere in this world...

Loading websites at work has been super slow for the past 2 weeks or so and yahoo.com times out completely. Other computers load yahoo fine. I've tried both firefox and IE, with all their plugins and extensions off. Speakeasy speedtest from this computer is still blazing fast so I don't know whats going on. help

What's your standard for just flat walking out on a place when they don't bring you your bill/clear your table? Do you ever do this before flagging somebody down to get your check?

I got closer than I thought today- as I was in an ihop that probably had 10% of the tables filled, an obviously adequate amount of staff, and yet I waited roughly 8 minutes with my foot obviously finished and pushed away. (and typically their process is to bring the check way early). I'm really willing to be understanding when a place is busy. I've got in fights with friends when they've been ****ty to waitstaff, or just were stupid and complained ignoring context, but when the place is ****ing empty and you're not serving me because you're jacking around in back or something- **** off so much.

(and then after he finally brought the check and I went up front to pay, nobody surfaced after a minute or so so I just stuck 17 bucks on a $16 bill* on the register and left)

In exciting blog news, today I ordered Indian takeaway for the first time in my life. I am 31.

He just didn't have a chance to. FWIW, after like ~5 minutes at a place like ihop you need to just find them and tell them to bring it to the register so you can pay. I did walk out of like a Denny's once when we stood there for 5+ minutes wanting a table and no one said a word to us.
