I presume this says "refrigerate upon arrival" so I guess it can tolerate a few days of shipping, but should be refrigerated after opening.. Sometimes I get a hotel without a refrigerator, and then there's the issue of traveling without all my clothes smelling like cheese, once the can is opened.
