That's awesome. I used to see a guy dancing around with a sign that said, "I bet you can't hit me with a quarter!"

Making fun of the homeless is about as close to a lock as you can get for knowing someone is a douche.

Worst winter ever. 13.5 inches of snow yesterday. BEFORE yesterday's snow storm we had already eclipsed the snowfall record for February by 10.7 inches (old record 29 inches, we were already at 39.7 inches). We have not had a day above freezing since the 2nd week of January. It is currently -1F with 50mph wind gusts.

All of the highways into Rochester (MN) are closed. It is so bad that the city has pulled the snow plows off the streets for safety. We're essentially just giving up and letting nature reclaim the land.

There was absolutely no way i could get out of my subdivision today. Tried to lyft/uber but both of those services are shut down. Taxi companies not running. City buses not running. Walked right down the tire tracks on a major 50mph road to get to work. Sick of this ****.

Tie a clothesline to the outhouse so you’ll know how to get back.

Kids are sick of snow days. Dogs refuse to go outside for walks...

Hospital employee cafeteria is closed because it is filled with sleeping employees that can't to go home.

Yes.

This is my 7th night shift in a row. I was able to drive to work on only 3 of them. I took Lyft for 3 and walked 46 blocks in 0F with 50mph headwind tonight.

Lol why did you go to work?

Because the person i was replacing had been the only chemo pharmacist in the hospital for the 13 hours since i left work.

The highways into town are all closed. Those of us that live in town are having to work every other shift back and forth. Again, the employee cafeteria is a barracks full of sleeping hospital workers right now.

I get there is prestigious stuff there, but I'd rather be in Yuma working as a dental tech(or oat runner).

I told the counter lady to take his order and I’d pay. He ordered for what seemed like 5 solid minutes. He got $45 worth of food. He kept looking at me out of the corner of his eye expecting me to stop him but I couldn’t. What the hell was I supposed to do? He said he had hungry friends.
How on earth are you 50 years old and only come across a dozen homeless people asking for money? That can't be possible.

I've offered to get some food for a homeless person maybe 5 or 6 times, they always accepted the offer.

10 gallons = 80 pints
Taking 35 as your current age(though probably less), you gave 80 pints of blood before you turned 20.

Nice job MLY! That is simply INCREDIBLE!
