People ITT acting like the napkin/coaster STAYS stuck to the glass. When in reality, it often flops off or unfolds as you're taking a drink.

Pro tips for those of you who haven't been drinking beer for decades and need more practice:

If you know (from your first drink) that the napkin is going to stick to the glass, slip your pinky finger underneath the napkin as you pick up the glass so that you raise the napkin with your glass. Or use two hands as mentioned by Steve.

If your glass is sticking to a coaster, lift the glass at an angle so the coaster remains on the table.

**** sprinkling salt on a napkin or a coaster!

An interesting All Star Jeopardy format started tonight. 6 captains, Ken Jennings and Austin Roger(s?) are the only two Im familiar with, but they each draft two teammates from a pool of a dozen Jeopardy wizards. Alex Jacob among them!

Funny thought, I wonder how the last person drafted felt. Its not exactly last kid picked in kickball, you're considered a top 20 Jeopardy wizard of this century, but still, last pick. Theyre even standing on bleachers getting hand picked!

That guy has been Saruman to Jennings' Gandalf for over a decade.

Notable, if you're going to talk about him, that Jacobs was the first pick drafted. Also on day 1, he was the only person (of the three) to represent their team that wasn't also the drafting captain.

I have Bose QCs and these dickheads were loud enough to penetrate that screen just a bit. I turned on music, which solved that issue, but I was reading something complex — unlike JT’s posts — which is much harder to do with music on.

Net result: loss of efficiency.
