Make sure you document these exchanges with your HR/Legal because it would be a short jump to an ADA claim for him. Attending work on a set schedule is normally an “essential function” but you want to have your hr on board from the outset.

We’re nearly the same age and we’re definitely older millennials. I think the lowest cutoff year is 86 or 85, maybe as low as 82 depending on who you ask. But 30+ millennials will probably be divided into a separate subgroup - we’re old enough to remember a world without smartphones and the internet being mainstream (pre google). We were also old enough to have a complete understanding of 9/11 and what was going on. Some of the younger cutoff dates definitely do not experience this. It is an interesting topic but I’d feel pretty comfortable saying any definition of millennial you’d probably fall pretty squarely into.

Sorry that was too long of a post but i cringe every time i hear millennial bashing, a lot of it is so uninformed and dumb. Some of it is deserved but the best millennial bashers are millennials themselves
