Is it possible to just give HT the ability to mod that thread if he creates it? I, and I think quite a few people here, would be interested in the topic, as well as related legal topics, without having to wade into the politics forum.

I certainly understand the mods not wanting to deal with it but I think HT could steer a legal thread and remove the junk. If it can't be made to work, or HT doesn't want to moderate the topic anymore, just lock it up and write it off as another reason we can't have nice things.

SE did that with politics, TV, etc threads and I thought it was dumb af, as well as displaying great hubris.

Howard can start any thread he wants. I'd suggest just having a rule like: If you primarily post in politics, you are not allowed to post in Howard's thread.

Canned cheese seems optimal for being on the road imo. I have some wine and cured meat ready for this ****. Come on UPS. I had been meaning to buy some of this for a while but the most recent posts and the email about the Red Pepper Garlic in stock made me pull the trigger.

A 30 oz. can? No way.

I presume this says "refrigerate upon arrival" so I guess it can tolerate a few days of shipping, but should be refrigerated after opening.. Sometimes I get a hotel without a refrigerator, and then there's the issue of traveling without all my clothes smelling like cheese, once the can is opened.

When you consider how much natural non-crapfilled cheese one gets for $22 ($26 w tax I guess. I paid $52 for (2) $22 cheeses), it's really not that expensive.

Also you have to refridgerate the unopened can asap, not just after it's opened.
