He's the worst.
It was pretty funny Larry King implied Seinfeld was cancelled tho. LOL

saw this the other day... he comes across as an *******:

Granted, it was the first time I ever watched a Katt Williams special. I only knew him from being A Pimp Named Slickback from The Boondocks.
The Pimp Chronicles from 2006 was amazingly good. It is one of my all time favorites. It seems like he developed the material over many years though and hasn't been able to come up with anything good in 10 years.

According to Larry King, Jerry got pissed because Larry stated that Jerry's show was canceled by the network when the truth was that it was Jerry who chose to end it. I suppose it implied that the show was bad and got sunk because it sucked. Jerry's response was ridiculous to the point of it being a joke that didn't go over well.

I thought he was joking with Seth. They are clearly friends. Seth was even on Jerry's web show.

Jerry did not come off well in that #MeToo video. Seems that he's trying to distract from the specific problem in Hollywood by expanding the scope to the entire world. While he is technically right that Hollywood isn't the only situation where this happens, it's pretty disingenuous to divert attention from a serious social crisis occurring in a highly-publicized field to society in general. He was trying really hard not to throw Louis C.K. under the bus.

He's just a typical Hollywood type: distanced from reality by fame, fortune and constant adulation to the point where he is unrelatable.

Who would you name Most Overrated comic?

I would say Anjelah Johnson. Christ, I have never even cracked a smile at anything I have seen or heard from her.

Had always wanted to try standup and was able to do a 5 minute set at Comedy Cellar about what life is like as a professional poker player. Thought you guys might enjoy.

You looked very comfortable up there. Was that your absolute first time? If so, you have balls for doing 5 minutes. That seems insane.

I started writing down material and general ideas a year ago but haven’t organized it into a short set yet.

Seinfeld being age 60+ surely has something to do with him being unable to relate (and others not relating to him). Older folks (generally) have always needed more time to "catch up".

That said, surely even he has to know that he doesn't come off looking good in this interview. Why even do such an interview? Did he think this was going to be an opportunity for him to imply that what LCK did wasn't that big of a deal?

Could be he's simply angry.

Saw Katherine Ryan's Netflix special and loved it.

I only knew her from Mock the Week and a few Frankie Boyle TV specials and she was pretty good. I did fear that she might be another Russell Howard who was good on TV appearances but has mediocre stand-up material but thankfully that was not the case.

Thanks! This was the second time, a huge improvement from the first. Having some friendly faces in the audience definitely helped.

Your Kevin hart brag felt a bit lame but overall it was pretty solid and seemed understandable by non poker players.
Kudos that was much better than anyone could expect for a 2nd time and with a subject that général public can't relate with much.
Your bit about having too much sex was a bit weak aswell imo. Considering I ve no experience with that kind of scene I'm still pretty sure you were way above average.

Good show, especially for only your second time.

Not everybody has that type of confidence in their 2nd show.

for the punchline of the 3 pump joke I think instead of "world record!" you should go with "EFFICENCY!" with the same proud of yourself emphatic delivery.

Itt we work together on a solid 5 minutes of material and each use (and film) it in different venues across the world.

For and comedians or stand up fans, podcast called "Let's talk about sets" is interesting. Recent episode with Mark Normand is a good listen. Normand's pod with Joe list "Tuesday's with stories" is also amazing.

Haha I don't think she can be the most overrated considering I have never even heard of her

If you want to look up 16 relatively up and coming comedians, here's a decent list. I like that Netflix is doing this kind of thing, getting newer people some air time.

There are a lot of good comics on the Netflix 15 list.

Kate Willett already had a great This Is Not Happening, about trying to find plan B at burning man.

It'll be interesting to see how a 15 minute set translates to Netflix. The 30 minute specials they've been doing work, and obviously a 15 minute headlining set works in person, but I wonder if/how they work as standalones. I hope they work, I love the idea of Netflix getting more people exposure like this. Some of them on that list are friends of mine I'm really psyched to see really blow up

First, I'll never stop laughing at the big city thing of calling 15 minutes a headlining set.

Comedy Central Half Hours are only 20 minutes, 15 will be fine.
