I generally hate musical comedy, but Tim Minchin is so damn good.

I think that I do, but then I remember Tenacious D, Flight Of The Conchords and even Stephen Lynch on occasion.

One thing I notice I like about Burr that other comedians don't do is his ****ing smile. He's always ****ing smiling. Just that little bit of charisma that says "hey I'm having a good time" and it makes me have a good time too. It's weird but it's very noticeable for me.

i find him funny, although i cant stand any podcast or radio interview format, it is as how someone else pointed out his mannerisms which push him over the top.

bill is one of my fav ppl alive and I'm pretty sure I was one of the 1st ppl singing his praises itt few years ago before he really made it big.

OMG!!! I have been LOL'ing for the past 10 minutes @ Gilbert Gottfried on the Anthony Cumia show today. They were talking about the AFLAC firing and somehow Yakov Smirnoff came up and Gilbert said " IN America YOU go to the ocean."

Bill Burr was mentioned in a half dozen posts within the first few hours of this thread being created, but please tell us some more about how you discovered this hidden gem.

heh i have playfully ripped on rbk for similar in the past (and it may not be without merit), but i think if he clicked page 1 he would clearly realise that he doesn't actually mean this specific thread. burr was already big in 2013 and no one would deny that, but there have been stand up conversations in random threads for a decade.

YEAH!! So SUCK IT!!!!!

I think RBK is 2+2's resident "Bill Burr fanboi" as I am 2+2's resident "Doug Stanhope's Fanboi". And Patton Oswalt

here is a wonderfully arbitrary list of 1000 comics. it's fun to see some names i dont know to check out, and cool to personally know a couple dozen on the list

points to the first person to notice the best joke in the list

Not seeing Bill Burr, Louis CK, Dave Chappelle, Hannibal Buress, Jerrod Carmichael, and MANY more names in the top 100 is a pretty hilarious joke.
