Wow what a great set of work! So many great parts in these specials. His smoking pot with fans bit from Live at The Beacon, makes me cry every time

Sad that this bundle doesnt have 2017 in it, that was also an amazing special

Lol brilliant breakdown of that scene haha. I really enjoyed the whole special, found myself lolling at a special for the first time in a long time.

Its disappointing to me that he doesnt address his indescretions more but otherwise this was classic Louie

actually thought sorry was on the lower part of his list of specials. only remarkable part was the good will hunting bit I mentioned imo. thought sincerely was far better, don't know if watching both for the first time in a week affected my opinion.

yeah spur of the moment caught louie in chicago couple weeks ago and was fairly disappointed. must have been the same set as sorry bc there was a goodwill bit. some banana jokes, obese people, ect. if that’s the same one.

seemed like he was trying really hard to both accept and diminish the plight of queer folk and it didn’t land for me.

louie filmed a scene for his show in beijing that i don't recall if it made it into the show or not but he was high school buddies with one of the more prominent expats out there who rented out and entire peking opera house and convinced him to perform in it

was pretty awesome, sadly, he went into it thinking that it'd be a chinese audience when nearly everyone there was american so he had a lot of jokes tailor made for chinese people that felt a little off given there were very few chinese in the theater that sat hundreds

New Jimmy Carr dropped on netflix today.

That's Gaffigan, Louis and Carr all dropping within a week of each other. Objectively three of the best like top 10 comics in the world.

Pretty good X-Mas presents.

Shane falls in that category of stand up comedians that are hilarious to me in podcasts but kinda meh on stage.

Dan Soder, Joe List, and Mark Normand (to a certain extent) are like this to me.

Yea agree with this. Mark Normand is really good. I’m also a big fan of Jeff Dye. Saw him 2 times at funny bone and he’s solid.

Anyone here listen to “are you trash” podcast? H Foley and Kevin Ryan are both funny. I saw them in Atlantic City a few years back when I was there for a poker trip. Thought they were solid for playing a small room. H Foley’s set is really good if you ask me however it seems he does the same one all the time (saw a YouTube clip of his set in 2015 and it was same a few years later). Not saying these guys are great comics but they are solid for mid level.
