+1 to both

love the pakistani actor in silicon valley, hate the pakistani comic since everything in his act is about shocking whitey about pakistan (forget his name)

never understood why anyone like gariel iglesias but he's always coming up in my youtube feed so clearly people ove him

Brendan Schaub has a special on Showtime, very funny... well worth an hour of your time.

Are you talking about his first one (I can't imagine he got a second chance)??? It's easily the worst stand up I've ever seen

Now I have to check it out. Why would muaythaidan mislead us on a former MMA pro turned stand-up?

And that's being pretty generous. If you're into cringe material though it's great.

I thought Chris D’Elia’s last special was the worst stand up I’ve ever seen. Schaub’s is close

Really enjoying the new podcast Bloodbath with Annie Lederman, Esther Povitsky, and Khalyla Kuhn.

Only about 8 episodes so far and their still working out the kinks, but there has consistently been a few LOL moments per episode

i really got into sebastian in the past year or so. he's just great. the special where he's wearing the pink sweater is definitely the best, but i love the older bit about TJ maxx.

checked it out, wouldn't call this standup, more just somewhat interesting anecdotes, fun guy to get a beer with and definitely see how he'd do well in podcasts but standup... nope

Yeh, nothing against him, and seems a nice guy, but the only reason I listen to comedy stuff with him is he often just becomes the butt of the other comedians jokes, and he's completely oblivious to it.

I can't remember which one, but heard a great podcast where the guests were ripping into him trying to do maths, but ended up eating the beads off an abacus.

I'd somehow never seen that four part thing by James Acaster

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7818686/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_2

Part one was sharp!

yeah, i kept waiting for a punchline but never came, would have fit in perfectly as a tedx talk about mma but there were literally no jokes at all

still got laughs though so what do i know?

Patrice was just a miserable human being. Sometimes he would say something humorous but it seemed to always be mean spirited.

Agree that Aziz >> Russell

Disagree that Aziz's delivery is "one-dimensional". Sure, he's not constantly doing accents, but he varies it depending on the bit he is doing.

Yeah maybe a little harsh, but you know what I mean.

Every line is like, "So I was doing this and that and then omg I deliver the punchline in a super surprised voice!".
