I have seen first 3 on Hulu. I don't think his smiling grin is a schtick. Just saw the episode where they recount Brody being admitted to a mental hospital because he was off his meds and going crazy. Like he filmed himself confronting people on the street saying he was gonna beat their asses and **** and posted them and was tweeting about having guns and gonna use them. He definitely is polarizing but I enjoy his show.

I finally got around to watching Marc Maron. I knew who he was for a long time, but never saw him actually do stand up. He is now one of my favorite comedians.

Just finished watching Patton Oswalt's new special "Tragedy plus Comedy equals Time". Not his best special, but he's so good that's not really an insult. Like for me, Patton is like pizza even when it's not so great, it's still good (ala Reality Bites).

The bit about going to Macy's for new clothes, and the sales people looking at him like a battle buddy looks at his friend on the field of battle after he's had his guts blown apart just had me dying laughing. Really great bit. The story about performing at the casino in Washington state was also really funny.

Amy Schumer is coming to DC in March and I really want to see her but it doesn't seem like there are any good seats left. I guess Craig's List and brokers are the way to go?

Seen lots of standup recently.

I saw Russell Peters, Daniel tosh, Jerry Seinfeld, Rob Schneider and a few others.

I Thought Russell Peters was a pretty big let down and seinfeld. Rob Schneider was decent like I expected and Tosh was the best of them all. I saw Tom Siguera open for Tosh and again when he played at a local comedy place, and he was by far the best i've seen ever live. I also really liked Bo Burnham when I saw him about 9 months back, but more probably because i'm quite young he's not really for everyone.

Really enjoyed the Kevin Hart specials on netflix, but I prefer Dave Chapelle/Louis CK/Bill Burr.

Got tickets here for Bill Burr coming up in a month so i'm pretty psyched because I love the Monday morning podcast, ****ing hilarious.

I think burrs last special you people are all the same might be the best special I've ever seen and I've seen almost all of em worth watching.

For a long time Louis CK was the only comedian I would stop and watch if I saw he was on TV anywhere. I will enthusiastically add Bill Burr to that list after being introduced to him last week. Absolutely amazing.

they're both fantastic. i think i slightly prefer elephant in the room but its def very close and totally irrelevant as they're both hilarious.
