Netflix is incredible they pulled chapelle back with an insane contract at the time. Now this... that level of support for chapelle is unbelievable.

Andrew Schulz is really funny. Check him out if you haven't before.

I watched Kevin Hart's new Netflix special that was filmed in his house. Awful. Really awful. But I have never found him to be funny.

Hitler's Dog is one of my favorite all-time stand up specials. I can see how Norm wouldn't be everyone's taste though.

Anyone watch the Comedy Store series on Showtime? I just started it on demand. It's entertaining although I wish it had more actual comedy clips from the comedians they are talking about.

Its basically the podcast at the museum.
The guide was extremely into their shtick, probably needed some new shtick herself.

I'm going strong on Mark Normand. I don't do Twitter or IG, but he's still killing it on YouTube with the amount of content. His series with Sam Morril is good, and interesting if you're a comedy nerd as they like to break down bits they're working on (all be it at little drunkenly).

I still find his relationship with Seinfeld weird, especially that Seinfeld wanted him open for him. Seinfeld, who does super tight and clean comedy, while Mark loves inappropriate gay jokes and randomly placed rude words.

I may of seen/posted myself this here, but Normand's wonderful hungover, don't-want-to-be-there, awkward morning TV interview. The host is incredible!

Really enjoyed Gary Gulman special "The Great Depresh" on HBO. Was not familiar with him at all but I thought he was great.

there's a really good this american life story about him, they just rebroadcast it as the most recent one, perhaps to coincide with this special?

will check him out - although he doesn't seem even remotely funny on tal but then again he's talking about being depressed and faking his life etc

He’s really great! His writing is top-notch. He has 4 or 5 albums on Spotify and each one is well worth a listen.

Haven't watched Gulman, but comedian Steven Brody Stevens had a miniseries/documentary on HBO(maybe CC or both) 10 years ago that also relates to depression and other things that was great. Don't know where to find it now.

I'd never heard of him, listened to a couple of albums years ago while bedbound super-depressed and really loved him. Sounds like I'll have to check him out again.

Mike Birbiglia. Sleepwalk With Me is his magnum opus, in my opinion. I’m talking about the album, not the movie.

Greg Warren. He only has two albums as far as I know, and the first one is a bit better than the second one, but they are both hilarious.

Yeah so underrated. I like it especially because it contains one of my favorite bits as I got a soft spot for the Karate Kid. His treatment of it is so spot on.

When your entire act revolves around race/ethinicities and impressions of those I think you hit your ceiling pretty quickly. But it's a crutch you can make a good living on apparently and milk it for decades.

That's why Aziz's material in spite of his one-dimensional delivery is so far ahead of someone like Russell who's basically the opposite.
