As I said, I'm massively biased as I've a huge crush on her, but I think she's naturally very funny. Try the beekeeping clip, or the hundreds of clips from shows she's done here in the UK.
Doing that reminded me of just how many panel shows we have!
Pepitone's set seemed like a regression to me. Really disappointed one of my favorite comedians didn't knock any of it out of the park. How does he get his jokes so fresh?
I liked Andre's special so much because I don't consider him a standup at all and he wrote a set that is tons of jokes, commentary, raunchy, speaks to Truth & power, etc. Used his hour to just unload jokes and observations with a great mix and flow. It felt like a comedian just crushing in his element.
I stumbled across Norm MacDonald's old Me Doing Stand-Up special on Hulu yesterday, it was ****ing brilliant after a fairly slow start. I really think when Norm is at his best that no one has ever been as good as he is. I do wish he worked a little harder lol, cmon Norm.
I still listen to Bill Burr's podcast now and then, still like him quite a bit. I'll be seeking out Louis CK's post-scandal work soon.
I just found Norm annoying at first, but after listening to people whose opinion I respect rave about him, I watched a lot of his work and now Im a huge fan.
He just isn't very funny to me, reminds me of an old drunk uncle that pops off a good one every once in a while, but mainly rehashes old jokes.

best weekend update guy ever
always been a huge fan of his and he's principled too, head of nbc was friends with OJ, told Norm to stop with the OJ jokes and he refused so he was fired
thing about norm is most of the time he just doesn't gaf so if you're coming in cold and that's your first impression it's neither funny nor seems appropriate - he gets way too much grumpy old man airtime now who if an andy kaufmanesque manner is not really interested in telling a joke but rather presenting a curious situation to the viewer
