Chris Hardwick's "Funcomfortable" wasn't too bad.

Some parts were really funny while other parts just didn't work that well.

I thought most of it was funny, the weakest part was the ending bit.

His podcasts with his friends just talking are by far some of the best comedy I've heard, but wouldn't transfer to a stage bit in most cases

I agree about the ending. It def wasn't as strong as the middle 20-30 mins.

How long before the uncut version is available? I'm still waiting on Tosh, Tompkins and now Hardwick's. Especially Tompkins.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Andrew Dice Clay is funny again. Just watched the 1st few episodes of his Showtime series and was consistently LOL'ing. The Adrien Brody episode had me in tears. Props to Dice for being able to have a show that revolves around making fun of himself as a washed up comic living in Vegas

heh, yes. i can't believe this is the first post on 2+2 about this show.

i watched the season a few weeks back. i think for anyone who is a fan of old school late 80s / early 90s dice the brody episode is just going to be exceptional entertainment. like you i was absolutely losing it in that episode, but also LOLing a lot in eps 1 and 3. i'm a bit biased because i'm still a fan of dice to this day, but yeah, i thought it was a very good show even though it drops off a lot towards the end. hoping to see a s2.

Stumbled across this Bill Burr story session from 2003, and even though it's serious rather than funny, I almost like it more than some of his other killer videos because it gives incredible insight into his comedic style, and personality, and especially his animated series. So good.

Ticketmaster is having a sale this week w/ $20 tickets for a bunch of shows including Bill Burr. The show I got tickets for is in Atlantic City, but I imagine other shows on his tour are discounted as well.

Seeing Brian Regan tonight, pretty excited.

Saw Billy Connolly a few nights ago, he did about 2.5 hours. Thought he was fairly entertaining, but it's definitely a different style than American standup and it had quite a few lulls as you might expect in such a long show.

Saw Duncan Trussell a few weeks ago, Johnny pemberton and Mikey kampmann opened. The whole show sort of bombed, most of the audience didn't seem to be on board. I thought Duncan was still good, but both openers may've inadvertently set him up to fail (johnny seemed to mostly try to sell jokes and act outs with no material). I think it may've been the worst comedy show I've been to. =(

I've been a fan of Brian Regan for many years, so I'm curious what you thought of his show last night? Was it great/hilarious, as expected? Also, did he have much/any new content? And where did you attend this show?

Also, any DC Benny fans on here? He's got an album, 'Funny Mother Flower' (that I may have originally heard about on here), that is really good. He also has a stand-up special (Comedy Central, I believe) that is very funny. He also seems to be a really cool, relatable guy, so I'm a big fan of his. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to be very well-known; but he's a very funny comic who should be way more popular than he is. I would suggest anyone who isn't familiar to go out of your way and check him out!

It was at the Warner theater in dc. Thought it was good, not great, but I'm also not sure if he's still honing his hour basically (i think he just recorded one, so not sure if the material is from that or new or a mix). All of the material was new to me, though there's one joke I think I've heard him talk about on a podcast or possibly do before. As an encore he did the story he's filming for ari shaffir's show in a few weeks.

Bo was brilliant, loved it.

Think I laughed more at his 1st special, but both are great.

saw tony hinchcliffe over the weekend. just hilarious. i felt really bad for him originally as there was legit like 25 people in the crowd and i'm pretty sure the vast majority of us got our tickets for free. they just gave me 4 tickets. the comedy club was giving out tickets on twitter and practically begging us to come. i'm sure he was very disappointed to have such a **** crowd (this was friday night at 9:45 mind you) but he absolutely crushed. would def see again but i doubt he ever comes to kc again as the crowd for the set before looked like crap too when i saw them walking out

now i got chappele on wednesday night.
