Patrice's last 2 albums were phenomenal. Small rooms and active crowds.

Tom Segura's special on Netflix almost snuck by me. I only watched it because I was bored and ended up loving it. Watched it plenty of times since.

Eddie Pepitone is well worth a watch as well. Kind of weird, but I love it.

This could as easily go in a music thread, but I'll put it here cause it might be the funniest thing ever, or absolute garbage.

H. Jon Benjamin is putting out a Jazz album. He got some top notch Jazz cats to join him. But there is a catch: He doesn't play piano and hates Jazz.

I listen to SXM comedy central channel while driving and the Dan Soder/Big Jay Oakerson show, The Bonfire is pretty hilarious.

YES!! Daniel Kitson is elite. I'm pretty sure it was you who turned me on to him, and for that I'm forever thankful.

I watched Thoughts and Prayers, the Anthony Jeselnik special on Netflix and didn't think it was that great. But he absolutely killed it on the last joke.

I reported loving that around a month ago on here. I got my wife to watch it with me a week or so ago and she thought it was hysterical (she rarely watches stand-up). I watched it again last night while grinding some poker and still 'ed it. I really liked the "You're probably asking yourself 'Anthony, are all of these jokes going to be about hurting babies', idk probably".

Speaking of Patrice, I can't believe it has been 3 years already since he died.

This article is a little over the top in it's praise for him, reading it makes you feel as if the author is promoting him for sainthood, but at the very least it's a great collection of links to some of his best work.

After posting this I went to check out Amazon to get Mr. P and found out it is available for free streaming w/ Prime.

Nice! Thanks for that. Just got Prime trial for free shipping on Black Friday.

edit: lolz, didn't realize it was free anyways. Whatever though, made me find some more stand-up to watch.

I hadn't seen much of his stand up outside of a few youtube clips but he is CONSISTENTLY funny as all ****in hell on ever they are calling the remnants of the Opie and Anthony show.
