I am a pizza junkie... My all time fav would be peperage farms crosssant crust pizza. If they eve brough that back to market I'd buy a new freezer to fill it with. My total fav is wolfgangs pizza, but I think a box of ellios is the best experience for the dollar.

I saw this one on El D's best value things... Teh presto frozen pizza maker..... Any love for this in this thread? Curious if its worth the hassle of storing it...

I really like Digiorno's (relatively) new Pan Pizza.

It comes with it's own pan and it's Sicilian style.

I bought a pizza oven (exclusively for Totinos) but it takes up too much space in my truck.

The Safeway where I used to live a few years ago did that. I would pick up a bag of shredded mozarella and a bag of Monterey Jack (the pizza joint I used to work at used those and it was magnificent) and throw about half a pound of it on top after the pizza was halfway baked. It was great living until Safeway quit selling it.

As for frozen national brands, Red Baron used to sell a pan pizza but it got very hard to find and as far as I know they don't make it any more.

They stopped selling that Red Baron Mexican kind I liked last year, RIP. Also I've noticed they keep jacking up the price of the classic cheapo Totino's. Not sure why I was hating so hard on em back then, they're ok.

Oh, and lately 7-11 is selling 2 slices for 2 bucks btw. You don't even need your own oven, very convenient!

Yeah buying a frozen pizza and add shredded cheese and whatever pepperoni is at 7/11 is the expert play

Some sort of dipping sauce also necessary

Outsiders Detroit Style Pizza is the new leader for me in the frozen pizza department. It's pricey ($8.99) but has a great crust and good ingredients, although I do like to add my own peppers and mushrooms. It comes in its own baking pan in a cellophane wrapping. Good stuff.

The answer is and always was tombstone. Digornos doughy crust us terrible and sometimes take a up almost half a slice.

real talk all the frozen food pizza are dog**** unless you dont have a above slightly above average pizzeria around you.

that being said digornos pan pizza while pricey is the best you can get. Digornos is easily the best due to 5-6$ pricetag while the best forzen food "quality" you get.

tombstone and jacks and all those other 2-3$ pizza is the nutlow.

If I got digornos I woudl always cook it 3-5 mins longer than said due to I want to cheese to have that golden brownish color. the pan pizza I cook 7-8mins longer than said

For me it is the line of frozen pizzas from Artisan! This is top notch imo.

The All Dressed, the Lardon or the Pepperoni are all damn good.

I live in Montreal and have asked a few friends in the States if they have heard of it and none of them have but if you can find one of these, give it a try.

Now not even close to the same ballpark but if I want a " cheaper " frozen pizza I opt to take the Dr. Oetker - Casa di Mama Inferno! I was like " yeah, hot..ok " prior to trying it but I was surprised that it did have a little kick to it and I would think that the "average person " would think it is pretty darn hot.

Again, if you are looking for a solid, frozen pizza and you can find it: Artisan!!!

NOTE: I have had these maybe 20+ times and ONE time ( on the All Dressed ) there was something wrong with the cheese or mushroom and the taste was off. Had this been my first experience with it, it would have never gotten a second go but thankfully, I had the All Dressed about eight other times prior, so I know how good it should have been.

If I'm in a big enough hunger pinch that I need frozen pizza, I have no problem with Totino's. The doughy Tombstone, digiornos, and Red Barons are not better at 5x the price. The Detroit thing looks good, but I can get something similar and better favored to me for not much more.

Totinos is the only correct answer; tastes so good

If you wanna get a normal pizza crust taste then just go non-frozen

Screamin' Sicilian is a very tasty, very good value frozen pizza. the Mother of Meat and Supremus Maximus are around 1.5 pounds, thinish crust and loaded with topping for about $6.

there are several supermarkets that sell the Signature Select brand for around $4 a pizza, often cheaper when you buy multiples. these are also very good value, especially their ultra thin crusts.

Exactly. Why are people buying frozen pizza when what they clearly want is pizza?

Totino flavor varieties. Mexican>Supreme>cheese.

Wtf their website doesn't have Mexican listed as option. I haven't bought in years, but I will report if it is still available in TX. It was definitely the best option as it had onion and green peppers on it.

Home run inn ultra thin crust is the correct answer. Buttery flaky crust with high quality toppings for a frozen pie.

Signature select thin crust also very solid for a $4 pizza. They actually have cubes of real cheese that melt to cover it instead of frozen grated cheese.

Supreme has onions and green peppers on it.

Also, they have varieties that I've never seen at the market before.

Pepperoni & Bacon is supposedly made with 100% real bacon:

WTF?

Also, get parchment paper and bake the totinos on that

Kroger sells a box of individual sheets of parchment paper which is better than the roll

Kroger 3 minute microwave pizza. It is $1, takes about 3 minutes to cook and tastes just like the horrible pizza you got in elementary school.

Totinos rolls, are I mean they are cheap pizza rolls, they are fine for that.

Totinos party pizza, good god. I would say there is no such thing as a bad pizza, but Totinos party pizza is the exception.

Where I used to live there were only two places that delivered. One was a non-chain that was grossly overpriced and didn't taste that good. The frozen was better, and their "large" that was no bigger than everyone else's medium, cost $25 plus delivery charge and tip.

The other place was Round Table, which was awful.
