I know they are pretty crappy, but I get good childhood memories when I see Ellio's pizza.

Costco has some very good personal Deep Dish Pizzas.

And I like the Totino's. Not exactly fine dining, but tasty none the less.

If those are the ones I ate all summer, they definitely were good except the fact that I got so sick of them I don't think I could ever even look at one again

I used to enjoy elios when I was a kid, but it doesn't appeal to me any longer. I'm never been a fan of Totino's.

Maybe I need to try more, but I really like Celeste. While small, they would do for a tasty snack.

red baron, ellios, and stouffer's french bread should be your standard go to frozen pizzas depending on the shape and thickness of pizza that you desire. of the several varieties of pizza that red baron makes i think the small, round personal size thick crust type ones are the best
Thank you, this is almost word for word what I wanted to post after reading the first few replies.

I hold a close spot by my heart for totino's, but they're obviously not in the running here. The mexican and the supreme are awesome though.

As a point of where to draw the line, any pizza that can be microwaved, i.e. a Stouffer's french bread one, as yummy as it is, should probably be DQed. For purposes of discussion this should be limited to pizzas that won't fit into a microwave or are otherwise not microwavable. In fact, nobody should ever microwave a pizza, ever, they should have planned ahead and gotten the oven fired up. Unless you are a stoner and have the munchies because of P.O.T. in which case it would probably taste just as delicious zapped.

The (discontinued, AFAICT) sauce-stuffed pizzas from Freschetta were always my favorite.

QFT.

I also like Stouffer's, the pepperoni is real good and the deluxe is better still.

Celeste isn't getting enough love imo.

Yea tuq, I believe microwaving stinks for a pizza. When I was younger, lol, my parents wouldn't let me use the oven, so I went with elios in the microwave. When I got older, and realized that **** sucked, MW + Celeste = ship it.

What was it, freschetta, or however it was spelled, was good.

Ugh, in college, we used buy those pizza bagels. Awful imo, forgot who made them.

Thinks are ranked mostly correctly, it's just that usually it goes

x > x > x > x

and you were all

y < y < y < y

and it gave everybody AIDS.

Yeah, uhh without cheese, that aint a pizza.

Regarding proper cooking method, I think par-microwaving then letting it crisp up in a toaster oven/broiler works well.

i love Totino's

i don't care that it's only $1, it tastes amazing

would rather pay $4 for totino's than $4 for digiorno's/tombstone/etc

Im gonna have to agree with this here. I'm notorious for going out all the time and spending $50 on a steak, but Totinos are very good and I can eat two of them without blinking for $2.

Totinos : Pizza :: Taco Bell : Mexican food
You get totinos when you want frozen pizza. You get taco bell when you want fast food. Nobody is claiming these are authentic. I don't even know if i've ever heard someone say "I want mexican food, let's go to TB". Anyways, frozen pizza is like one of those WTF things to me. Totinos is awesome cause it's different and costs 99 cents. If you are trying to just have a quick normal pizza, then get delivery. Price wise they are within like $2-3 of each other and fresh>frozen. Unless you're that ****** in this thread who eats cheese-less pizza.

HMM. i guess my fellow army of homeless totino's eaters randomly showed up in this thread.

i guess if totino's didn't exist, the next best thing are the Trader Joe's pizza (specically BBQ chicken, but all are pretty good)

seriously though, nothing better than 2 totinos pizzas for dinner, or 3 while drunk/high

Hey if you like Totino's that's fine, don't let me stop you. But going from memory it's like tiny cubes of pepperoni and some cheese melted on top of cardboard. So you definitely get what you pay for. I wish I could enjoy that.
