Personally I think they should have dogs everywhere in airports. puppies for days. my flights would be 1000x better if I could give a bunch of belly rubs right before boarding.

There really is no ESA-scam. It is a security blanket.

There is definitely Service Dog scams. This is not going to be as easy to regulate as people imagine. The government doesn't hand out certificates to people or facilities. People can train dogs on their own and we don't have testing sites. Also, there are hundreds of disabilities and tasks.

It is interesting that an airline can ban a 100% legitimate service dog based solely on breed. Where the Department of Transportation which regulates airlines is against the policy. Well, tomorrow it goes into effect. Less discussed is that I believe they are the first airline to limit passengers to just one ESA. Both policies will be challenged quickly.

The thread title gives the false impression that there are ESA scams committed by Fabian. This is unfair and I therefore recommend changing the title to "Fabian's Piano appreciation thread (no more ESA scams)"

Containing him here was the correct play because he has a lot of knowledge about the scam. He's made his living off the scam for quite some time. So containing him here allows him to post about something on which he has actual experience as opposed to allowing him to do that AND spew his ******ed takes on other issues in the general containment thread.

I did not make a living off this scam. This is a small % of my income. I rely on other scams just like all Americans who basically have scam jobs.

This does provide the most joy to people. It may irritate a fraction of people .5% of their lives, but it benefits a patient 100% of their lives. This is the most meaningless issue ever, but people love to elevate it to the end of society. I think it brings people together.
