Airlines have an organizational problem in general because people early on in the checking in process don't care if they wave through something that is going to be rejected later. Why would they take on a customer when they can punt them down the line and let someone else deal with it? This is a constant problem with carry on baggage because no one says anything until people try to carry their ridiculous giant bags onto the plane and stuff them into an overhead bin that is about 50% of the size their bag. Then the passengers scream at the flight attendant because "nobody told them" that their ******ed giant bag was too big to carry on. Well, use your ****ing head moron and think for yourself. You thought that your 4 ft by 4 ft by 2 ft suitcase that you can barely lift yourself was going to fit into an overhead space? Really?

I hate flying.

Legit pissed. The suspense was building in anticipation of some egregious pet handling, but all I saw was typical handling of luggage.

But if you were emotionally ****ed up, you would need your dog when you got to Bali.

What do you do when you need to travel but don't have anyone to take of your dog?

Even if you have no friends/family willing to take care of your dog, there are plenty of service places that would do it for a fee. This isn't hard.

Nor is it an excuse. You buy the mutt you take care of it. None of this victim crap.

I am very allergic to cats and mildly allergic to dogs and I can't imagine being stuck on a flight with them. I'm not paying hundreds of dollars to have a 4 hour asthma attack and itchy, watering eyes for the rest of the day once I get to my destination.

Here's an idea:
How about we start a new airline, ZooAir, where you can bring as many ESAs on board as required for your condition. This way, you can fly around covered in **** and dry heaving while the rest of us freaks with allergies and animal aversions can fly in peace.

why not have an area on a plane? if a dog can survive a cargo hold then i imagine a person could. it would be like a utopia down there with all the animals there with them. being around the wonderful creatures that allow them to function in life and around like minded people where they could discuss their problems sounds like the kind of therapy they need.

I can't believe this is genuinely a thing and am just thankful it seems to be a US problem at the moment. It's like folk who never grew out of comfort blankets.

Maybe if you self-actualize a little more you can get to the point where you don't give a **** about anyone else.

But you need to put yourself in the shoes of those who don't give a **** about other people. You just have no empathy at all!

United States at forefront in many other areas. We accommodated physical disabilities much sooner. Took a hard line with cigarette smoking more than most countries.

To some people, ESAs are a progressive sign that we don't find that whiskey and valium is the only answer to dealing with anxiety.

Edit: he doesn't need to outlaw them, but pass a law making it airline's choice. I will personally choose the airlines with no horses but freedom to choose for others who feel differently.

Just enough of this crap. People being allowed to bring mini horses on planes is a clear sign of the downfall of society.
