Right now there's something about winking that just seems creepy unless it's someone close to you. Other than that it just seems shifty.


The only time I can remember non shifty winks in my life is when aunts would wink with a joke or whatever. Am I just off here? Maybe I'm just a loser and no one wants to wink at me lol.

Winks only seem creepy when they're done by creepy people w/ creepy intent. A person can convey a lot with a wink. Whether it's creepy, innocent, flirty, or acknowledgement of shared inside information, depends on the winker's intent.

I've winked more while reading this thread than I have in the 10 previous years probably. Every time I check in here I wink a couple of times. With my left eye, of course.
