It's ok and actually works better than the Ego-T atty, probably because it's Low Resistance. The hole in the top is a little too small though so it doesn;t get very good airflow and traps vapor.

Here are some juices that I bought.

I have a Atty/Tank very similar to that, if I'm not mistaken it is what is considered and Ego-T type b the type a is the cone shaped one. And your right the hole is too small also the Attys end up tasting burnt after a short time, not to mention that they hold the flavor of the first vape you use and it never really goes away unless you disassemble and clean it.

i used a 510-T for a while. they're pretty good.

the tank atomizers are more expensive tho and i found they gunked up quicker than normal ones, so i eventually moved on to dripping onto a standard atomizer. i keep some handy tho for driving or other places where i can't drip.

still have yet to try clearomizers

I've just bought an 1100mah ego-w kit with clearomisers in it. Picked up my brother's ego-t but he'd lost his charger so haven't been able to use it much yet.

I tried the clearos in a new vaping shop that's opened near me. Any midlands based UK vapers should make a visit. He's got a sampling wall where you can try out all the flavours. It's in Rugby town centre.

Oh, and over a week now without a cigarette.

Hey guys - any views on propylene glycol versus vegetable glycerin verus polyethylene glycol 400???

Regarding PG, VG, PEG-400 in what context? For DIY? To vape? To broad to reply to.

Also, Apollo has a 20% off coupon Reddit. It was supposed to have expired in the 25th, but I just used it.

thanks for the write up on all of the entertainme, it's very helpful

I'm about to upgrade from my standard 510 ecig, I want more vapor, and more battery life.

I was on the apollo site about to order that vtube, I would probably prefer the black because it wont stand out so much like red or chrome, but I might just order the chrome for the times I drop it in the car, or lose it in the house. Hopefully the chrome stands out more and is easier to find, because I know I'll be searching all over for it eventually.

I kind of like the look of the Tgo more though. seems a little smaller, and it's all about the same diameter. the way the vtube has the atty hanging off of it I feel like I'm going to break it easier when it's in my pocket (snowboarding, dirtbiking, etc.)

how much different is the vapor production between the two products? I have a feeling I should just order the vtube and call it a day.

suggestions before I place an order?

The Tgo appears to be a rebranded Ego tank. It's not variable voltage. It doesn't have a replaceable battery. If you can wait until sometime after April 15, Apollo is supposed to have a stainless steel vtube, with stainless endcaps, and an ego connection built in:

Update: The stainless steel version of vtubes are not in stock yet (the new delivery date given by the factory is now 4/15, sorry for the delay). We are still taking pre-orders. This stainless steel is real (not coated or painted) for both the body and the end cap, however because of its extremely high production cost we have to limit its production quantity to about 500 units as of March 18th. So the stainless steel will be a limited edition! Please get one while you can! If you placed your order but can not wait, please contact us for a complete refund.

We will also release a Chrome version which is easier to manufacture and will look similar to the stainless steel version, but it will be made of copper and coated with chrome. We are planning to release a copper version as well because many customers requested it.

There's a $15 premium for the stainless. It will be available in both the mini and standard size.

is there a big difference in vapor between the ego T and the lava tube? I've only vaped out of my standard 510, with a atomizer. I want more vapor

Imo you can get significantly more vapor with a vv device. I'd be interested to hear other opinions on this too.

an egoT is similar to a standard 510, just the battery lasts a lot longer in the "sweet spot" before low charge.

Theoretically, no. If you find an atty/carto that is the perfect ohm rating for your battery, and your battery is always 100% charged, there will be no difference in performance. For any practical purpose, yes, you absolutely need a vv device to have consistent maximum performance from your cartos/atties.

Please, do not get an ego-T. It's the worst ****ing device ever. e-cig is very simple. You have Icon, Provari, Darwin, Reo Woodvil, Apollo lavatube and a few others. Just get something good and skip all the beginner crap. You're going to quit smoking, don't worry.

I don't know about cartos or clearos, but the atomizers come from Avid Vaper and Ikenvape. The good cheap ones come from sweet vapes.

I use standard resistance 2.5ohms when using the Apollo. I like the 306 the best. the Ikenvape i06 is pretty sweet. These attys are expensive so what I like to do is vape from 3 devices at a time. Two have a sweet vape 510 atty (they are sold out at the moment sorry, but save the link), and one gets a fancy atty.
This setup isnt so great for on-the-go, but for vaping around the house it's as good as it gets imo. That said, I'm sure there are a ton of great products. I stopped looking cuz I'm basically broke and what I know already is working for me. For flavor and vapor production I think dripping on an atomizer or a bottom feeder like a Reo Woodvil (this is better than a mini or grande imo) is the best way. I think cartos and clearos and tanks are convenient, but may not give the ultimate vape, which is all I care about. I don't want to sacrifice anything.

And don't even think about an Ego-T PLEASE!!!

Yes sorry; i meant in regard to health/side affects

Very spurious but a friend of mine told me of issues in particular with mouth ulcers that has been reported with PG but not VG..... anyone had these issues?

Here's the wiki and some studies, but I'd recommend to anyone to do their own research.

When eliquid was 100% PG it made me cough. I've not heard of anyone getting mouth ulcers from it, but it could certainly happen if you were allergic.

I generally vape higher % VG liquid, but it definitely has PG in it. (Most flavorings are PG based.) There are 100% VG liquids sold, but some will also have an asterisk that their flavoring might contain PG.

I can tell you for certain that I've gotten sores in my mouth from Nicorette along with swollen lymph glands. That's actually what prompted me to look into ecigarettes again. YMMV.

So far so good. Not sure I like the flavours I got so far. The menthol tastes more like colgate toothpaste rather than menthol cigs. Really looking for something that tastes exactly like Marlboro reg or light.

The sensation on my throat is different, slightly harsher I think.

One thing I'm loving is the lack of odor. After 2 days, I can already smell a difference in my apartment. The other night, my gf lit up an analog and I was instantly like :s

mouth ulcers can be a side effect of quitting smoking so if your friend got them soon after he started e-cigs maybe it wasn't the PG

I'm using my Ego-T right now and it is working just fine, now I dont use the tanks but the battery is nice since it has a USB passthrough.

I hate my eGo-T with a passion..stock anyway, maybe different atty's would be a lot better. I probably won't even bother with it anymore though.

I've just got an 1100 mah ego-w kit, which comes with clearomisers instead of attys. Loving it so far, gives really nice flavour.

It's a bit too long though, esp with the pen cap on. Should maybe have gone for the 650mah one.

I'll probably get a vv eventually (the stainless steel apollo lavatube does look good) but I'm happy with my ego for now.

I'm afraid you're not going to find it. I probably bought 15 different tobacco flavors trying to find anything that tasted like ANY cigar/cigarette that I used to smoke. I got nothing.

HOWEVER, once I moved to some of the other flavored options like menthol, caramel, and fruit flavors, I found that I preferred them to the taste of cigarettes. I bummed a marlboro off of someone this weekend, and couldn't even finish it. Did nothing for me.

Just understand that you're not necessarily going to fall in love with vaping after a couple of days, or even a week. It takes a little time to get your equipment like you want it, and juice that you like. It's well worth the effort though.

Ordered some more new-to-me juice from backwoods brew.

Got the berry bliss, waffle, and some more menthol and caramel cappuccino.

Gotta say that for flavor and throat hit, this place never disappoints.

Backwoods Brew is the nuts for tobacco flavors. It's all I vape. He's got some straight up tobacco based on Marlboro flavor. I never thought I'd like this stuff but damn it tastes so good. Adirondack, Virginia, Casablanca, 555 Exotic, Backo, etc. He's also got a really good Espresso, root beer, and cola. He also has some fruity tobacco. The best is Applewood. I'm looking forward to Orchard Frost which has a tobacco base with menthol and fruit mixed in. If you want tobacco, there is only one place to find it.

What's the berry bliss like? I've tried some of Don's fruit flavors and I don't really like them. They kind of have an artificial taste.

You ought to try the Malty. At first I hated it. I kept going back to it and then it hit me - cotton candy! There's a new one called Conundrum that I might pick up too.

Ok, I think I'm about ready to place my order. how am I looking so far

Apallo Vtube

pack of clearomizers

3 drip tips
dual coil tank cartomizer 3.5ml
extra 1600 mah battery
a Ego adapter (not sure I need this but for $4, I put it on just in case)
1 15ml bottle of ry4

I figured I might just try the clearomizers, and the dual coil tank cartomizer.

but maybe I should just get one of them, and then order stardust like the op suggests.

how am I looking, I'm very exited to try some new stuff
