As far as my new vivi nova tank, its OK. It tastes the same as a Stardust with the same vapor production as well. Just holds more juice.

Really like my Cisco attys I purchased. Just need a dca for them. One day I suppose....
Rinse out your lavatube with 99% propyl alcohol, fill it right up, battery tube and all, and shake it. That'll get all of the juice residue out of it. Let it dry a few hours, and it should be good as new.

Just ordered some vivi nova 2.0s and I expect them to be a game changer. They look like they do everything I've been looking for, so keeping my fingers crossed.

is it worth $70/battery? i don't have a CC so i can't order online...i like the blucig with the 510-t, but it doesnt rip too well, however i like the portable charger so i can change batteries on the go
Get yourself a reloadable credit card then. You're just burning money by not ordering online.

It is VV:

I love all the little details, the tooling around the edges, the carving on the edges to fit your fingers. Can't wait.

I've done this multiple times. I actually remove the batteries, then immerse the whole mod in isopropyl alcohol. I leave it overnight, then let it dry completely for 24 hours. As long as something isn't broken, it should be good as new.

Did you buy from somewhere with a warranty?

If your battery was super hot, I would toss it. Better to be safe than sorry.

You can get them at Walmart.

love e-cig, got it a month ago and it's awesome, I don't smoke in house, so I had to go every tournament brake for a smoke, now I just smoke e-cig for the whole time I am playing....

congrats on the ecig use. This will sound snarky and nit picky to the beginner, but you do not "smoke an e-cig", you vape. When you ignite tobacco and burn it you produce smoke. an ecig heats a liquid at a lower temperature to produce a vapor.

Invest in a Provari imo. Had mine close to 12 months now with no probs whatsoever.

Can't speak for the 2.0s but the 2.5s are superb.

Somewhat read my mind. Also considering a reo bottom feeder as I like to drip..... Thoughts on reo?

+1 on the provari. You don't have to go through many lavatubes to make the investment seem worthwhile.

My Orion came a couple of hours ago. Couldn't be happier with it so far, apart from it needing a good clean to get rid of the oily taste.

And in 18350 mode, next to a 650 mAh ego battery for scale:

My 2nd coil is going pretty well so far. Under the hood:

I've got a Reo Mini and a Woodvil 18490. They're cool. You just press the bottle to feed it into your atomizer and it goes. Some people fill tanks, I just fill the bottle. I don't know which way is better. For the Reo I recommend the wood ones. They hit better. If anything goes wrong, you can always send it to the dude. He's cool and doesn't charge much to repair it.

What about provari vs reo? Pros and cons?
E-cig Thread: Alternative to Smoking Quote
09-07-2012 , 11:21 AM
Not sure. I think both are good. Maybe it's a form factor thing. I had a lavatube and it was annoying that it kept falling down. The Reos don't fall over. If you like the Provari you can look at the GG stuff. I might get one of those if I had the scratch lying around for it. I think all these kinds of devices work well. What varies the most is the performance of the atomizer you use. I think that once e-cig atomizer technology improves, it will be a whole new experience. These days they are too expensive and the taste degrades after a while. If I had the energy I would be looking into those ones that you build and maintain yourself. For now I just get the bulk deal for LR510 at Vapor Kings. I gave up with the expensive ones when I found that not all of them worked right, so it's like 8.95 down the toilet. So I stick with the cheap ones that don't always work right.

I agree about attys except for my Cisco ones. They have been great. Even the one that was on my lt is tasting great again. I just had to reprime it. Toking it now. I just miss vv and knowing my battery level. So convenient. For that alone I may like a provari. But I totally get where you are coming from with it falling over. My silver bullet rarely falls over....

@ rescued

Get the black Provari same as mine

Cons:
Pretty heavy and long
Uncomfortable in the pocket

That's about it.

Like mixing a silver bullet (heavy) and a lava tube( long).

Agreed about the GGs rescued, too shiny. I don't want to spend half my life polishing. I'm thinking of taking some wet and dry to my spheroid at the mo to give it a satin finish.

Has anyone got one of those here (a spheroid)? Fantastic atty and really easy to get going well (much easier than any genisis I've tried). It's sort of an oversized rebuildable carto. But that doesn't do it justice, flavour especially is very good in it.

Mine (I didn't have the right allen key to tighten it when I took that, no gap at the top anymore):

ffs, that should be $40 to $50 MAX. Don't go through Amazon. There are probably a dozen vendors listed in the last 2 pages alone.

Where in the world do you live? It's easier for us to help you find a vendor if we know where you are.

What is your vaping experience? Are you set on using ego batts, or are you open to trying other things? Since you were willing to spend $70 on an ego battery, I'd assume you wouldn't mind spending a bit on really good equipment, correct? Provari or lavatube might be worth looking into.

Give us a bit more info, and we can set you right up.

feel like a donk, got confused cuz all the starter kits i looked at came with atomizers instead of cartomizers...looks like this is what i shoulda got for $46 -

http://www.desire-ecig.com/eGo-K/eGo...r-Kits-1100mAh

eGo Battery 1100mAh X 2pc
CE4 Cartomizer X 2pc
Wall charger X 1pc
USB charger X 1pc
Carrying Case X 1pc

items already shipped on amazon so i'm gonna just return them when they get here

looked at provari and lavatube and thats $100 min from what ive seen so i think i'll just stick with this site for now, anything will be better than my blucig batteries...plus the vapor spot is a couple blocks away to buy spare parts and they have a really great selection of flavors that you can sample in-store, liquids go for $1/ml but they cut deals if you buy in bulk...the ego-c starter kit there goes for $120 lol

That's a bit more like it.

The CE4's aren't great in my experience though, the vision ego V3 ones with replaceable coils (they look pretty much the same) are pretty good. Can't vouch for this seller, just tried to find a US stockist:

http://www.rockymountainvapor.com/in...f75ffb482980de

Or the mini vivi nova which is similar but slightly bigger capacity.

Good job on not settling for a bad deal. Congrats on getting a good deal. You've got the high points covered here. From experience, finding what you like in an Atty/carto is the quest for the holy grail. And your options are numerous. I like Cisco attys my self. I like to drip. When I'm not dripping I use a vivi nova or Stardust. All of these can be used on your ego but some will require an adapter.

Don't stop asking questions. There are some solid vapers here to help. They've helped me a ton and I think I've helped one or two a bit.

Do many of you make your own ejuice? Is it easy and worthwhile?

I'm interested in trying my hand at making my own juice. I really just want to clone truth serum from RAWR and I will be happy.
