For £12 I'd get one for sure, but it looks like it'd prob last me about 20 minutes how much mAH charge does it hold?

300, not bad for something so small.

Yeah 300 mah battery. They advise to not use low resistance cartos but I am very impressed anyway. It doesn't have a power button so uses the auto function. It also comes with 2 pre filled menthol cartos and a USB charger. I honestly expected it to be a piece of cheap crap but it's amazing.

Ok a few noob questions I can't find the answer to ITT because it's so long.

Just got the Vtube...

1. How much "juice" should I be dripping in?
2. Is it supposed to make a weird bubbling noise?
3. Is the juice the only source of nicotine? If I smoke it without juice would I be inhaling just vapor?

1. Depends on the device you have attached. I'm assuming your vtube came with a standard atomizer and drip-tip. In that case just drip 1 or 2 drops of juice and vape until it starts to taste "dry".

2. Depends. An atomizer that's working well usually makes a sizzling sound similar to the sound of bacon frying. If you're getting a gurgling sound and little vapour, the atomizer is probably flooded. Disconnect it and blow through it into a paper towel to remove the excess juice, then vape until it starts to taste dry. Goto step 1.

For a standard resistance atomizer, which is what you likely got with your kit, I'd start it at around 3.9 volts and adjust the voltage up or down to taste from there.

3. The juice contains the nicotine and makes the vapour. If you were to try vaping without juice, you'd get nothing but perhaps a dry burnt taste. The job of the device is to vapourize the juice, and deliver the nic through this vapour.

Welcome to vaping, and this thread. If you have any other questions, this is a good place to ask. There are several very experienced users that can help walk you through it. If you haven't been there yet, browse the ecf forums (link), and that'll help you get familiar with it.

welcome! just to add 3) If you vape it much without juice, it'll overheat and you're likely to burn out / "pop" the atty - not a desirable outcome! you can drip in just PG or VG, that'll get you no-nicotine/very little taste vapour.

Thanks guys! Very helpful advice.

"until it tastes dry" would be like 15-20 drags? I assume you add juice before every use correct?

When I add juice am I trying to put it on the little thing sticking out or does the juice absorb into the tube?

I'm a little jealous that you had the foresight to get a kit with an attomizer. variable volt battery and drip tip, I've been vaping 7 months and haven't advanced past filling and cleaning cartomizers and using various kinds of batteries.

On the other hand, if you just screw a cartomizer on your battery you will be good to go for hours. There is a lot for the beginning vaper to learn, so much in fact that you may come to think of it as an interesting hobby, not just a way to kill the feared smoking dragon. Don't get discouraged, keep it simple at first. Your primary objective is to substitute what is most likely a harmless habit (vaping) for what is most certainly a very dangerous and offensive habit (smoking), Once you do that the rest is just having fun with your new hobby.

Don't be afraid to come back here for help. ECF is a must for vapers but i found it overwhelming at first because there is so much information, most of which will not apply to you, that it is hard for a beginner to navigate it sucessfully.

Well it looks like variable voltage is becoming very affordable. The new Ego Twist allows you to go from 3.2 to 4.8 volts. Its basically a standard Ego battery that you "twist" a dial on the bottom to adjust the voltage. The good part is that they are $23. For those who couldn't pull the trigger on a Provari or it's cheap knockoff the Lavatube this is probably your answer. As a Provari owner I might get a couple as backups and put one in my car.

This is gonna be my new recommendation to new vapers. It's the best balance of price/performance/size that I've seen yet

Looks good and seeing as I never go above 5V on my Provari the smaller range of settings shouldn't be any problem.

I am seeing a few reliability problems on youtube though.

After 2 months of being on the build list for my GLV super mini I finally got it. I was frustrated it took so long but damn this thing is AMAZING. So small and works so well.

Without my atty+ 306 drip tip it's only 2 inches and with it all put together it's only 3.5 inches. You can barely see it when you vape because most of it is in your hand and just the drip tip is sticking out.

I've just passed 12 months smoke free

Tried vaping last June and haven't touched a cigarette since, I still have the packet with about 12 left in it in my cupboard untouched. (I had been smoking for about 20 years by the way).

To be honest it has been easy, once I found the right set up for me I haven't looked back and my monthly cost are much less than half what they were.

Anyone lurking in here that wants to stop smoking and thinks vaping isn't for them needs to give it a serious try.

I got mine from a place someone recommended itt when it first came out, here: http://www.uk-eliquid.co.uk/collecti...avatube-vv-mod but I got a couple of the 18650 batteries off totally wicked

Hi everyone, Im an overweight non-smoker who is looking to introduce low levels of nicotine to help curb appetite and stimulate my concentration when studying (masters student with too many late nights)

Any recommendations on the amount of nicotine I should be looking for as a new Ecigger? Are there any good started packs or singles that you would recommend for someone who wants to try before they buy a full kit?

Smoking, e-cigs or otherwise, is not a reliable way to curb your appetite and there are better ways to force yourself to focus on studying. Don't start smoking.

I have no interest in smoking tobacco, Im wondering what negative side effects there are to nicotine consumption when it is not mixed with tobacco.

Britvapes. They still have 6 left if you want one. The discount code "spain" is still valid, gives you 20% off. The batteries he sends aren't great though (I've got some Yezl's on the way to replace them), but at £8 for 4 they're ok.

Addiction and vascular damage are some of the big negatives. If you're not already an addict, I'd stay away from nic if I were you.

Congrats on the new GLV PJ. A bit of advice: don't try to take it apart

I was getting inconsistent hits so I thought it might be a dirty button so i was going to give it a thorough cleaning. This thing is really tough to take apart and in the process I pulled the wire off of the atomizer connection (the little brass thing to the left of the orange ball). Some day I'm gonna have to re-sauter it back. In the end, I think the only problem was that I had to tighten the allen screw to push the atomizer connection higher up.
