So I was at this dance club tonight for my friend's birthday and at 2am when it closed we spilled out onto Santa Monica right into the middle of another one of those No ON PROP 8 protests (for those of you not from California -- we passed a measure on the ballot that essentially amends the state constitution to completely ban and strip all civil rights for the gays to marry each other and be happy and ****, sort of like if there was randomly some ballot measure that said OK WOMEN CAN'T VOTE ANYMORE or BLACKS CAN'T DRINK FROM OUR WATER FOUNTAINS ANYMORE).

So the chick I was making out with in the club followed her friends into the crowd, so I shuffled along and marched a few blocks. It was cool, and then I saw this short blonde chick shouting out the chants like "What do we want, equal rights, when do we want em, NOW!" and I looked over and it was Drew ****ING Barrymore and she smiled and I nudged her shoulder to sort of push her along and she laughed and kept chanting and made her way to the front where this dude with a bullhorn was leading the way, and he made everyone sit down. So we all sat on the street like a ****ing '60s protest march sit-in or some ****, and he introduced Drew and she got up there and screamed into the bullhorn some crazy protest propaganda like "I'm gonna fight with you! This is some bulllll****!" and everyone clapped and we kept marching until I got tired and completely lost the girl I was hooking up with so with that total failure I got to my street and stumbled home and that's the end of the story but still, it was pretty cool.

hahahahaha....good story...it's even better that you're drunk while writing it.

i enjoyed reading this, only thing i would've changed is after she said - "I'm gonna fight with you! This is some bulllll****!", i think i would've pretended to be a protester and taker her up on her offer and challenge her to a mud wrestling match

I approve of this thread title as 100% grammatically accurate. It takes a root sentence of "Drew Barrymore is cool," makes a contraction out of 'Barrymore' and 'is' resulting in "Barrymore's" and simply uses an adjective to describe how cool she is. That adjective is 'f***ing.' No problems here.

Isn't the adjective "cool" and "****ing" is an adverb? Other than that, I agree with your analysis.

edit: disclaimer: they didn't teach grammar in my elementary/high school so I really don't have a good understanding of it

The gays are a vibrant people.

I believe there is legislation in the works that will force them to be in cages before sunset. The bible says this is the most appropriate course of action.

adverbs end in -ly
