I need to find dress shoes that add a few inches to your height (like 1.5 inches+) and I stumbled across this : http://www.shirlina.co.uk/products.asp?rg=2

Do you guys think this site is legit? The shoes are pretty expensive

Also, does anyone have experience with dress shoes that add height? I looked into platform shoes and lift shoes but heard lots of bad things about them

It looks like those things are platform shoes. Am I reading this right? They add 7cm to your height? Ummm, that's a pretty significant lift.

Might think of getting a pair of these myself actually. The fun of my GF being taller than me when she wears heels gets old pretty quick.

I have the 3 or 3.5inch ones I think... you can't tell the difference. Normal shoes add 1-1.5 inches. It's a very subtle change. Even when I'm wearing them and I tell people what they are, they can't see it.

Make sure you don't walk funny though. I can pick out guys who are wearing them because of how they walk.

At 5'8 I like shoes that add height, but I think you'll look stupid if you get shoes that add anything more than 1.5-2 inches. I have pair of hush puppies that add about 1.5 inches. They are good.

On a side note, about 3 years ago I bought a pair of tall man shoes that added ~3 inches. First time I wore them I twisted my ankle walking down the stairs. Never wore them again.

I'm 5'10"-5'11" and my height has always bothered me (I even considered leg lengthening) so if there was shoes that could add a few inches I'd buy them. The problem is every option I've see is obvious. They actually draw attention to your height and what you are trying to do which makes it much worse.

That might be statistically accurate but most of my friends are taller than me so it doesn't seem to be true. Also average isn't a good thing. There are clear advantages to being 6'1" -- not enough to go though the pain and risk of a sketchy procedure like CLL -- so I'd prefer to be that height.
