That's what you get for having a cat instead of a dog imo

Maybe now you will finally learn and get a dog instead

Full Moon Fever was the first CD I ever bought. I didn't even have a CD player, I used my sister's to copy it onto a cassette. Fun fact, I also got busted for smoking by my mom that day, she smelled it on me. I was 16.

I also remember listening to "Alright For Now" while sitting in my mom's hospital room waiting for her to pass.

Later days Mr. Petty, ty for the music.

EDIT: News reporting that he is apparently not dead, but still clinging to life. So.

Saw him in Knoxville on his Wildflowers tour when I was in high school. One of the first real concerts I went to (and maybe the first time I saw people lighting up). About 30 miles into our trip to Knoxville, we hit a deer and busted one of the headlights. Had to turn back and get another car before continuing to the concert.

Yeah, my reaction too. Not that Tom Petty has ever looked like a paragon of amazing health, but he also didn't seem like someone who would die prematurely. Hope there's some sort of realistic chance left that he fades this.

But let me get to the point
let's roll another joint
And turn the radio loud
I'm too alone to be proud
You don't know how it feels
You don't know how it feels to be me
