You're going to live in Chicago right? I've lived in Wrigleyville the past 8 years without a car. You don't need it in this city if you work in the loop. That car note sucks....plus parking is a pain in the ass/expensive in the city...
I'm guessing you're in your early 20's, fresh out of school? If so, please listen to everyone's advice: get rid of that CC debt! The student loans are fine, but that CC debt is killer man. I would not leave a rent-free home until I paid off that cc debt. Pretend that you have to pay your mom for rent, and instead write that check to the CC company every month. You will thank yourself later.
