(Americans only because that’s where it mostly applies)

I never tip. It’s not my fault their boss pays them slave labor

It has become a custom in America to tip 20% it use to be 10%...who knows where it will be in 5 to 10 years.
Some places charge you anyway if you are in group of 3+ and then the waiter still sits there looking with his greedy hand out…

Pizza hut charges $2.50 delivery fee. There is your self imposed tip, now leave me my pizza.

Most waiters I knew in college made more money than I did anyway, so GTFO.

I know this makes me a bad person, And I do tip on the first few dates if there is any chance of getting caught not tipping.

If you don’t like your horrible job, find another one.

I suppose I would tip more if I lived in a smaller city, but the odds of a waiter remembering me are very slim in a metropolitan

So you never tip any time you eat out at a restaurant or just when people deliver your pizza?

every other industry is making more than they were 30 years ago, why shouldn't waiters/waitresses/bartenders?

If visit the same place a few times and don't tip, they remember. Technically they can't do anything to people who are know non-tippers but management will generally turn a blind eye, don't expect great help if there is a problem either.

Not that I agree with OP or anything KK, but I think you are having some problems with what percentage means.

This has been too many times and is not at all interesting as a general topic.
