El D, somebody gave me a $100 Philz gift card so I've been frequenting it again. Still pretty good!

I spent the day cutting down a tree and sawing it into logs. Tomorrow I have to split it all, but I’m using a hydraulic splitter rather than muscle power. I’m totally exhausted but the day felt worthwhile.

I may drive down to Boston and scalp a ticket for Sox/Dodgers Wednesday.

Chop,

I don't hate money. I make enough to meet all me needs and most of my desires. I do value stability and quality of life more.

No question though, I have cost myself money. I am reminded fairly frequently by recruiters.

Howard! I cut down a tree yesterday too!! It was only about a 20 footer and maybe 8 inches at the trunk, but I also only used hand-pull chainsaw and machete from my bug-out bag.
10-23-2018 , 12:46 PM
bug-out bag?
10-23-2018 , 12:49 PM
I think a bag with various useful tools with which you can deal with small handyman problems.
10-23-2018 , 12:54 PM
its a bag you have with 3 days worth of survival rations and gear that you keep ready to go at all times, so that you can grab it and run in case of emergency.

Bug Out, verb - "to depart especially in a hurry"

Made famous by the great show Doomsday Preppers.

Mine has wooden stakes and silver bullets because you can never be too sure
10-23-2018 , 01:17 PM
That's not very American.

LFS, I'm free on Sunday, just sayin....we can have a sober good time!

I know what a bug out bag is. An old roommate used to update his bag like once a week. He had a closet full of ridiculous survival gear "just in case".
Im questioning why the **** anyone needs one. Especially one that contains a machete!
That's some solid paranoia.
10-23-2018 , 02:21 PM
cs3 obv doesn't have a tiny, hot wife.
10-23-2018 , 02:28 PM
Yea, but he's got his bare hands
10-23-2018 , 02:31 PM
27 might be on to something.
I suppose if my wife was a dwarf then a bag would be as good a place as any to keep her.
10-23-2018 , 02:38 PM
I think she's more of a midget.
10-23-2018 , 02:42 PM
Reminded me of this:

nothing paranoid about a bug out bag, its massively +EV, arguing otherwise is pretty silly. Same with having several weeks of food and water stored.

Now we definitely could debate about having a machete and a chainsaw in said bag tho.

Also need a few passports under different names from various countries
