I think they are trying to maximize the use of it. If the demand in the area is currently bigger than available MRI time, then you can either make it more expensive and try to reduce demand ( I believe that is in Canada's health system impossible) or try to use every second possible.

I'm befuddled as to how Saturday 2am could mean anything but Saturday 2am unless you are sitting at a bar approaching closing time on Friday.

And lol at depending upon someone making phone calls as a career to explain what Saturday at 2am means.

This is the kind of lackadaisical attitude towards appointments you find in a communist country with free health care. Stuff like this would never happen in a free-market health-care system

I see what you did there, and I like it. I just feel the need to point out that should you ever need to meet someone at midnight, you should say 12:01am on X, because then its 100% clear what you mean. Unless you are DZ or a drooler at a call center.

I have heard an interesting hypothesis today about sense of life for men. Basically that being first in competitive situations (any competition that a guy really enters) gives motivation and this feeling of fulfilled life.
