Dispensaries in AZ don't sell shake or bulk product like that. Also care giving doesn't exist basically. Paitent to patient transfers are not allowed.

AZ is medical state. Recreational did not pass. You might be right about the shake EC. We use different shops. Do you remember seeing it by the ounce or anything? I've only seen it for like $5 grams.

I think I remember seeing it in jars on the shelf along with all the other flower that you buy by the gram, 1/8, 1/4, etc, but don't remember the pricing. Was just in there yesterday picking up some cartridges(BOGO Thursday FTW ) but wasn't really paying it any attention. I'll look closer next time I'm in there...probably next Thursday again.

After reading above posts, I'm sorry my terminology was a bit off.

When my friend used to have a lot to trim, he would throw away the trim (which is definitely good enough to cook with if you do it right) and the "shake" you guys are referring to would be all the tiny popcorn nugs near the bottom of the plant. My friend would keep those as personal head stash when the good nugs run out and imo were better than a lot of the big nugs since they would sit around and cure forever.

Shake / trim I endorse the definitions others mentioned. But I've got no idea why shake is cheaper. Trim, obvious. But if shake is just tiny nugs I'd buy that all day.

shake can have micro buds (with little potency) but is usually nearly dust.

if someone was hellbent on trying cannabis id guess starting with shake is pretty optimal.

If buds are getting dried properly there should never be any "shake" as you refer to it Tuna.

Edit - some sugar trim I've seen could definitely be considered the "shake" you refer to. As a matter of fact when I was younger I used to keep a sack of sugar trim (like a gallon bag) to bring to parties and roll blunt after blunt after Blunt up, none of my friends knew the difference.

Good lord it is so much cheaper for me to get high on buds than edibles. I bought two grams yesterday for $18 and the girl was real sloppy with the weighing and I probably got about an eighth. With my little crappy ghetto wood pipe I can probably get myself high at least a dozen times off this. Good edibles would run about the same price for one fun night.

I find the highs to be very different. Do you find the pipe high as enjoyable as a fun night of edibles?

Like I said Ik a lot of people who just throw it out.

When I used to make ice bubble hash with trim, I would only get maybe a few grams of good bubble hash, usuing probably a half pound or so of decent sugar trim.

I never actually weighed the trim or the hash so those are just estimations but probably pretty close.

So if you had to sell it or pay for it I would pay no more than 100 or so a pound. Imo

Only other thing I heard is it was going for 250 a lb a "while" ago.

I asked yet another dispensary about shake for making edibles and he excitedly told me about a place selling eighths for $20. Still nowhere near reasonable IMO. I just need to find someone or some place that's about to throw out some of the stuff and make an offer.
