i think i got a high weed tolerance. i can rip dabs and then go about doing whatever i want, grocery shopping, running, whatevs. while many ppl say it just knocks them the **** out. pry cuz my dad was born on 4/20 i guess

I think marijuana affects people differently.

Some people are very tired, hungry, sleepy, etc.

Others are energetic, introspective, thoughtful, creative, etc.

Many are combinations of both of those.

just got four hours of sleep thanks to 3 hits of mmj.

the last 24 hrs i was struggling to sleep more than 10 mins at a time. insomnia + small cocktail of psych meds + moronic doctors who are anti weed yet pro trazadone.

you people need an enail to truly experience concentrates in all their awesomeness. Also, butane is not needed for delicious concentrates. The far safer and simpler way involves heat and pressure, so steal your girl's old hair straightener and a buy clamp of some sort (I am using a vise grip c-clamp and have been for months now) and a roll of parchment paper and you are set. Google rosin and thank me later...

Reckon I'm ready to get back on the weed train. Gonna load up the vaporizer and throw on my VR headset and watch Netflix.

Stranger Things on Netflix is definitely a solid option for high viewing.

My Sleep Deprived Posts ITT - An Epilogue


It's still somewhere in the realm of Faux Pas and Non Sequiturs to ramble aimlessly about "mental illness" anywhere in America, including this very website. The truth is that excessive pressure and unfortunate timing can inflict a lifelong diagnosis on anyone who happens to experience the acute effects. Even more problematic is the rampant abuse that still happens to exist in psychiatric holdings [of my sample of two, and only one of which was I actually sick, mind games were played with patients who had invariably been gamed without consent earlier in life -- to the point that I felt I was witnessing some kind of tragedy that the staff was largely blind to.]

The idea that the mentally ill are more likely to be taken advantage of than to be violent, ill-offenders of their surroundings is ubiquitous, and true. But even sadder as to be misconstrued is how few rights they have intellectually going up against doctors, judges, and hospital administration. Without 1) doing a large amount of research and critical thinking, 2) being capable, if not gifted in communication, it is a hopeless fight for some to thrive, get better, or escape the mental health system.

I was once not well-read about this stuff and was toyed around by poor diagnoses and cataclysm related to dangerous medication as a result. I never fooled around in psychiatrists offices. Yet taking things as prescribed had led me to lose years of my life, tens of thousands of dollars, and even facing what I felt was a state of being permanently sick when I was over-medicated in my first psych-hold while being underprovided sleep aids. This time around I considered all necessary premises and concluded:

- I am a student of science, and a badass.
- I spent 10 minutes with a medical doctor during an 8-day hold.
- I then spent 30 minutes with a non-native-English speaking doctor one week following.
- I was being prescribed a sequential-lifetime (meds upon meds) amount of medication for prevention's sake
- My "illness" is acute and always has been
- I am determined to find the optimal coordination of medications, myself, as I was already feeling immense physical stress from what was prescribed.

I am going to continue smoking weed to help me sleep. For me, it is a beautiful drug, although it hasn't always been that way, perhaps due to quality control and being immature as a young adult.

This forum has always been a place I could speak freely and is another off-the-books reason for having a higher quality of life. Thanks.

Suddenly and unexpectedly in possession of 3 (what I'm told are) oxycontin pills. Haven't done any of my own research, but just from what I hear in the media it seems like something you'd best not mess with?

No. The pill said U16 on it. No idea what that means. Nor do I understand what the desired effect is. Or best to use it.

It is essentially the same strength that you get for a minor surgery (wisdom teeth), except you have 3 pills and they prescribe like 20, and you take like 1 every 2-3 hours and max of 4-5 a day.

Oh ok. Yeah, I didn't purchase them or seek them out or anything.

Well I took one. I don't believe I've ever even taken an Advil.
