That's solid. I did a report on CCR in my 11th grade history class.

I celebrate their entire catalog.

My dad had his plusses and minuses, but he got me on CCR and Neil Young early.

worked with this falling-down-drunk plumber years back. one day I wasn't there, he fell down a flight of stairs and knocked most of his teeth out iirc (lol getting old, bros. turned 50 yesterday. holy jesus.)

he lived at a place the owner of the company owned, and dunno what the exact arrangement was lol. the owner went to russia and arranged a very young wife.

but anyway.. we got a new set of drill bits for the rough-in phase of the plumbing lol and he was very jokingly protective of those drill bits and would say, 'no admittance.'

When I worked construction there was a steel worker that asked me for a 2 foot piece of pipe as a favor. Never talked to the guy before.

That night dude fell to his death down an open elevator shaft. His blood was still there days later. Other trades had to lanyard off when up high, but not those guys. Poor bastard.

When I worked at a factory a girl had her finger severed on an assembly line. She got like 10k lol. Another dude who worked construction and moonlighted as a handyman had his index finger severed at a manufactured home production site. While he was looking for the digit it got ran over by a Hyster. They hadn't had everyone hold tight for just a sec, time is money.

then today was golden. did a job at the Plaza in KC, that's where all the beautiful people shop and stuff. peoplewatching and plumbing. and got a free meal avocado double chee by the nice manager gal of this Shake Shack where the job was

Plans were backed up but we're doing it big time. Just an 8th, but I'm going in without a plan. My mother is two rooms over and I stuffed a table into the bathroom to setup shop.

Time to brew. I may gaze at the moon, hope the orb doesn't crash into Earth.
