I store mine in a plastic cup/container with measurements that came with an emulsion blender.

I make a slight attempt to figure out proper dosage sizes based on actual measurements but it's usually just how much of a spoonful after testing.

Lol, if you can just eat a spoon full without retching more power to you. If it's already been vaped it's broken down enough. No need to grind.

Your goal is to remove the solids after heating anyway + the heating when you vaped it is what allows the thc molecules to transfer from the avb to the oil. That's why anytime you make edibles with flowers you need to heat it at 220 for 15 minutes first (this process has already been done with avb when you vaped it).

I'm sure I couldn't do it without wretching. The taste of infused anothing makes me wretch. So I'm not sure what to do with the batch.

Freeze it and it'll become the consistency of ice cream. Break off a pea sized chunk and put it in a bite of bread and swallow. Just like feeding a pill to your dog.

It's hard to wrap my head around the fact I could get A LOT higher with this new stuff. I've smoked one and off for 10 years, tried hash and OPM once each. other than that only buds. this new oil concentrate stuff makes me a bit uneasy. you guys do you, Ill try it some day for sure but damn you guys must get high af.

Yes.

I would use all that avb + a little more coconut oil than would fit in that jar in your hand. Mix the avb & coconut oil in a glass large enough to hold both the coconut oil and the avb.

Put the glass in your crockpot and then fill the area around the glass with water

Put the lid on to retain the heat. Every crockpot lid i've ever seen is domed which means the condensate that collects on the lid will run down toward the sides and not drip into the glass.

When your done after 24 hrs you should have roughly the same amount of avb and coconut oil in your glass.

At that point your goal is to remove as much of the solids as possible. The solids no longer have any value because the thc has been transfered from the avb to the fat in the coconut oil

Excellent. Went to Safeway, and they don't have cheesecloth. So going to make phone calls. Surprised at how expensive coconut oil is. $8.49 for 14oz jar.

Joanne's Fabric or Amazon for the cheesecloth, though it isn't critical. Removing the solids is good but the leftover solids aren't going to hurt you if left in. it's just that if you've done it right you've transfered all the thc out of the solids into the coconut oil so there is no reason to keep them. Plus the solids taste like ass.

You could also use just a strainer like the link i posted w/o cheesecloth ( will remove some of the solids) or a thin flour sack towel to strain the finished product

I'm at KMart now for the goddamn cheese cloth, which is obv a disaster. Not finding it.

I did get a 3.25 inch strainer at the last place.

Tell an employee you need some cheese cloth to strain the weed out of your butter, and he'll get you situated.

I would assume being high af would be a prerequisite for working at Kmart so he probably can get you situated.

I don't know. Just using a drinking glass is standard. You could just use the jar you're avb is in but you won't need quite that much avb if you do that. Take 1/3 to 1/2 of the avb out and fill to the top w/ oil

I left my infused coconut oil out on the counter overnight and it melted back to a liquid.

I can very barely take down a spoonful without gagging. It takes a lot of mind power and a chaser.

Especially after the episode I got so high I threw it all up a couple weeks ago, now it really is gag inducing.

Generally cheesecloth is one of the most useful things to have on hand for how cheap it is. Worth stocking up imo.

That looks like too much coconut oil to me. I'd scoop a little out if it hasn't melted yet. If it's too late no big deal. You'll just have to take a larger dose as it'll be less concentrated.

You want the water in the crockpot to be simmering or barely boiling. Whatever setting it takes to accomplish that.
