Donít love Bill Maher but he has a hilarious rant about the Pax rework and how it sucks. Obv a true stoner.

On that topic, I think my Crafty is #1 quality portable vape, but after 3 years my battery canít even get through a bowl. Iíve used it a ton I guess. Sad times.

What's his gripe? I bought a Pax3 recently and it's the best one they've put out, imo.

Is it really that good? I've considered this one and the mighty in the past, but was always afraid the chamber would be too small.

Yes it is really that good. The vape quality is on par with the Volcano (same manufacturer) for at least part of the bowl. If youíve never smoked either I believe youíll taste things you never have.

Huge caveats tho: battery life is ****. I think it was only 2 bowls out of the box and as I mentioned canít do 1 now (after 1000s tho).

Its also not durable at all. I dropped one and it broke and another one died too. Both times they shipped me new one tho so customer service top notch.

Basically I use my Crafty on solo dog walks and my Davinci Ascent for bar nights (many bowls + can be dropped).

I would probably get the Mighty if I did it again. Not much more expensive and def bigger / sturdier. The Crafty was so stealth when it was illegal tho.

I never thought the chamber was too small and reloading it with their ingenious little grinder is soooo easy. Believe the Mighty has a bigger chamber too but not positive.

Re: Do you love this s***? Are you high af right now?

That's some good looking bud but with so many vendors in DC selling ounces for $100-150 of decent stuff I've been on a quantity over quality regimen in the DMV area. I've really been doing well cutting back lately. I was smoking an eighth a day for about 2 months straight. It crushed my tolerance. For the past two weeks I've been hitting my vape cart a few hits in the morning before I go for a walk at 7ish, then I don't smoke until after 4:20pm and I cut it off at 9pm. Now I'm down to about a gram/day.

I've been smoking so many blunts for the past 3 years straight that I've definitely developed a little nicotine habit. If I'm smoking flower now, it's just 10x better rolled in a backwood or a Garcia y Vega. Tobacco free wraps no longer do it for me.

I feel about the same level of high as I always get so this might be a good schedule to stick to for myself.

Re: Do you love this s***? Are you high af right now?

Stoned thoughts ...

I lived in DC for 15 years and loved it, but it also became exhausting. I moved to a small town, and now I just wish I could go out without running into someone I know, which is also exhausting ...

Trying to plan a vacation. Basically, spend a week as a beach bum. You guys have suggestions? Currently leaning towards going back to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca in Costa Rica.

Things I want:

Sit on the beach
Stare at the waves
Smoke a lot of decent weed without fear of going to jail
Good bars
A decent bed

I'm in upstate New York but easiest thing to do is probably fly from a Washington airport ... I tend to go to latin america or the caribbean when I travel. Been to Puerto Rico many times, but have never thought weed was easy to find. Talamanca was basically perfect, but I'm open to suggestions. ...

Flew with weed in my carry on both ways, first time using stealth second time I just stuffed it under my clothes at the bottom. Had no problems but I think they must have searched the bag the second time cause the weed was towards the top rather than at the bottom where Iíd packed it.

Re: Do you love this s***? Are you high af right now?

I've been to Nassau Bahamas and was able to do all of those things. Not many waves, but crystal clear water and friendly people.

Protip: The locals that "rent beach chairs" on the beach, have the weed. It wasn't anywhere close to great weed, but it was better than nothing.

PR is the best. It's cheap, don't need a passport, no local currency, and everything in San Juan is in english. You can ask for weed anywhere, cops don't give a **** about anything. They literally spend their entire shift just driving around with their lights on, it's purely a deterrent.

Also, you can feel good about helping the economy. San Juan is looking good, but the rest of island is still in poor shape from hurricane Maria.

Sounds like you know what's up. ... I've been to PR maybe 8-9 times, mostly in San Juan for a weekend, but also over on the west coast. Post-Maria I've thought about trying to buy property down there, but it looks like (from zillow) the super-cheap obvi bargains are gone ...

Anyway, if I could find good weed in Puerto Rico I'd definitely favor that place. Love visiting for all the reasons you mentioned and more. Rincon, San Juan, Arecibo, Vieques ... Have you been there recently or are you from there?

Do you love this s***? Are you high af right now?

I just want to rant a little about the state of ďlegal weedĒ in Ontario. Itís a god damn joke. Iím sitting here watching Nevada and Colorado smash every positive metric by just letting capitalism run its course, yet here we have layers of regulations authored by Trump Jr to make sure his best behds are the ones operating the ~25 retail stores that will (eventually?) service the province. And even that has been delayed and shrouded in mystery.

The only place you can actually get it legally is a government run online store that was selling dirt weed on a 6 week delay when it opened. Maybe its better now, but this stuff is the v obvious downside of a monopoly.

Also despite edibles being the #1 recommended form of ingestion by all health organizations theyíre illegal here because... kids?

Just in case you guys are jealous thinking weíre doing it right, we arenít yet. Yeh I can smoke my vape on the street but Iíve been doing that for a decade. I still go to the same dealer and the gray area underground shops have just gotten sketchier over the past couple years (as law enforcement randomly applies unclear laws at a whim).

If there were 0 regulations (or at least minimal ones) we would be 10x better off.

Also I got a shatter bar from one of the aforementioned sketchy ďstoresĒ (just a townhouse), and itís the best edible Iíve ever had. Super clean head high, niiice body high. Thatís off 20mg and I have a dece tolerance.

My family is originally from PR (though I am not). My brother lived there for the last 6-7 years, I'd visit at least twice a year throughout that period. I'd visited a handful of times before my brother moved to San Juan. Yeah man, hitting up Vieques or the rainforest are some of my favorite things to do on the island. Heading up the mountains on a Sunday for the massive pig roasts... aaaaand now I'm hungry. Last time I was there, I finally did the bio-luminescent bay and it was a blast.

All the good properties have been predictably snapped up, post-Maria has been a cesspool of that **** for the wealthy. San Juan is obviously the best place to live for a gringo, but it's a tad pricier than it seems (i.e. almost all goods are imported to the island).

There is indeed a rather large ex-pat community, especially in San Juan. I'd recommend taking a look at the Ocean Park neighborhood-- it's safe, lots of ex-pats, and it's on the same utilities grid as Condado, which is the main strip for hotels and tourist stuff. Normal internet is crappy, but you can get Google fiber most places in San Juan. Brownouts are common for electricity, the grid was pretty **** even before Maria. Water is occasionally off for a day or two whenever a main blows. "Island time" is definitely a real thing, so keep that in mind-- it's a party 24/7.

LOL, try having legalized online poker and medical weed where the **** is a monopoly and it's a ****ing small ball joke. In DE we have 2, ex state troopers running the MEDICAL weed biz and we have the lottery running online poker. You know what you get? An online poker room with no liquidity and a weed bizzzzzz that runs out of any real product other than the basic flower strain over and over again.

We are talking about edibles, cbd, vape oils, whatever. You can't even get weight past a ****ing 8th. Basically if you have a real health problem you are better off buying wholesale from the blackmarket and I know many who do this including someone who would be almost dead without weed.

These govt fools are a joke!

Re: Do you love this s***? Are you high af right now?

Just got home, first fatty of the day and am ripped. Enjoying the spoils of a few days worth of hassle that I just got finished setting up right before I had to go to work.

Sturdy ass tv stand with fake fireplace but real heat, and 70 inch LG. This is a ridiculous tv to have in a bedroom. I dont really know what to do with it, as there isn't a ton of 4K content, I dont have a BluRay player, and I don't play video games.

Re: Do you love this s***? Are you high af right now?

The legal-black market divide isn't going anywhere, any time soon. But particularly for flower. ... A guy I buy from came to my cabin yesterday, I got two 1/2 ounces for $200 ... I believe all/most of this is being shipped from the west coast, so that's basically a 100% markup and it's still cheaper than anything legal.

Puerto Rico ... maybe a thread in the travel section? ...post-Maria I got on Zillow and there were some crazy-low $ properties, even condos in high-rise buildings. Nothing like that available anymore.

I'm a huge fan of PR. The bio bay is amazing, I've been there a couple times, including once before the shark bite (used to be able to swim in the bay, but apparently there was an accident and now most tours keep you in kayaks, at least last time I was there ... they say sunscreen is killing the bay, which is also probably true) ... and omg pig roasts ...

Puerto Rico's struggles are a mystery to me. It seems like the perfect place for getaways for Americans (no passport, currency change, all things mentioned earlier ...) ****ing direct flights out of DC sometimes, even. It's gorgeous and friendly. Not particularly inexpensive, at least around SJU, but not $$$ either...

Last time I was there, I wound up playing in some small nl poker game set up on a crappy pool table, passing around joints (ok, the one time I smoked in PR) in this absurdly rundown bar on the west side of the island. Good times.
