Now I don't know what to watch. Overwhelmed with content. After last Sunday's finale of Crashing, I have no weekly anything to follow. Which kinda sucks. For a couple months I had True Detective and Crashing to look forward to after work on Sundays, and it was nice having that. Now all I get is bull**** from Family Guy programming.

I just started Barry in the last week, think I watched 4 episodes. Which obviously, for me anyways, means I like it. Really enjoy Henry Winkler in it.


Super stoked for the return of GoT! Probably should start rewatching season 7.

A year ago when I was laid up I watched the whole series.


Oh man, reminds me, was really ****ed up on edibles for Joffreys wedding and that was ****ing insane tv viewing, even though id probably already seen that episode 4 times.

And then I believe the season 6 finale, I rewatched while on 4-aco-dmt, and that was also ****ing nuts!

Glad you liked it. It's payback since your recs got me to watch License to Drive and also rewatch HSP eps on YT. You never posted your LtD thoughts as you said you would in op. I watched it while baked out of my mind too and had a great time, in many ways the pinnacle of 80's cheese. The final car ride scene is pretty epic.

How much risk is there in taking weed (bud/flower) in checked baggage on an airplane?

I always put it in carry on, but I fly out of california where the airport policy is to not care about weed. flown to legal and non legal states that way, never had an issue

Yeah, I would never feel comfortable taking flower in a carry-on or checked baggage. Oil pen is the way to go for travel, never had an issue while flying in the states.

what am I risking? weed is legal where I'm flying out of and the airport policy is to allow weed in carryon luggage

i would feel way less comfortable flying with extract. any amount of extract/oil can get you charged with a felony in a non-legal state. I always take flower, edibles, etc, but I never bring vape cartridges or oil

I've been asked about it only one time (because I had it in my hand), and I simply said it's an e-cigarette. I don't live in a legal state, so my concern usually stems from the smell.

when I flew to hawaii last year I got stopped at the TSA checkpoint in Oakland. they searched my carryon, found the weed, set it aside, kept searching, and finally they found my toothpaste and threw it away. then they put my weed and other belongings back in my bag and I was on my way.

oil cartridges smell too, even when not in use. but anyone who's been around e-cigs and thc vapes knows that they smell much different when you're puffing on them. obviously they are much more discreet, but I would still be really cautious because it's very easy to tell the difference

I mean, as long as you're not openly puffing while going through security, I can't see the downside versus the smell of flower. No TSA agent is going to take a hit off of your pen.

if they're going to confiscate weed they will definitely confiscate vape cartridges. the look and smell are more than enough to differentiate a nicotine cartridge from a thc cartridge. ime it's just as easy to hide a few grams of flower as it is to hide a couple cartridges. and the punishment for getting caught with extract is much harsher

Taking like $20 of flower onto a plane just seems stupid. The risk/reward just seems insane to me.

yeah, that's fair. if I wasn't from california I would feel the same way. it's just different here. I wouldn't fly out of an airport in any other state or country with weed though.

it is (unless you're travelling from a legal state to another legal state, which is the entire west coast now), but you only get searched when you leave, not when you arrive. also it's not uncommon to fly within california, and ime they don't ask if you're travelling out of state /to a legal state when they find weed

I am rather meticulous and careful and have never been busted with weed in my many many years as a certified blazer. I don't take risks others would be willing to take.

That said, bringing cannabis in a carry-on in a legal state is not a risk. TSA does not enforce the law. They call the police who do not care because it's legal. Or, they don't call the police at all and just send you through. It really is not an issue. I have read up on this extensively.

Now, in an illegal state, it just seems stupid. Unless you're in a decriminalized state, in which, you can decide on that risk for yourself as it still may be worth it to you. For non-Americans that may be unfamiliar, several states do not have legal weed, but also do not have full criminal penalties, and merely hand out tickets for weed possession.

granted i live in a legal state, i flew to dallas and chicago with a pack of joints in my carry on and didnt even know they were there, Nothing happened.

I ended up closing the window. I don't ever **** with anything like that.
