Oregon. When the state legalized weed it gave out too many permits to growers and they grew something like 3X too much last year. Tough break for people thinking they were going to get wealthy off growing, but cheap GRASS for the rest of us. The low joint prices have been blowing my mind too. A couple weeks ago a friend of mine showed me these 6-packs of 0.5g pre-rolls he had gotten for $7 each. I don't know how anyone makes any money on that.

Pineapple Express tonight, quickly became one of my favorite sativas. Pretty strong stuff (24.9%) and seems to be almost caffeine-like in the energy it gives me. It's not harsh at all smoking and (guess what) cheap, was $17.50 for a quarter. They're not even trying to pass off ****ty buds in these sales, some of these quarters you can tell it was one nugg they had to break up into 3 pieces to fit in.

this sounds amazing. I miss living in santa cruz where every september thru november amazing bud started at 1k/lb.... mmm I miss having bags on bags of different strains. would just stick my face in it sometimes. smelling it is almost as good as smoking it when you have that much

Damn those are some downright amazing values. A drug dealer from year 2000 starting with only a few hundred bucks probably could have been a millionaire in not many months if somehow he could magically have paid those present day prices in the past for weed that good. I would love so much to be able go into a store and buy joints of high quality bud for only about a dollar each that sounds great. They might as well be cigarettes at that price. Last time I bought I paid 80 for a quarter of some Sour Diesel that was mostly popcorn nugs

Raw distillate sounds like the new cutting edge right now. My guy had a big can of it the other day it's like 98% THC and you can dab it, vape it, cook with it, eat it. Whatever you want, it is ready for consumption. Looks like honey, maybe a hair stiffer.

Grabbed my usual 7g for 200 deal, which is pretty good pricing for Boston. Will report back when I grab some distillate.

That's so crazy. I've had the strain "The White". It's a very strong indica. I love it. Weed prices are probably close to what they were in the 50s & 60s there. LOL

I can't say I love anyone in this thread, but after lurking and checking out some old posts over the last while, I can say to all the regular posters in this thread that I like all of you!

To get deep in response to Tuma's post, I used to have a huge guilt complex that I overcame, but I've always wanted everyone to love me deep down, though I always tried my best to pretend I didn't care what anyone thought of me.

There's a dispensary chain here selling some quarters for $9.67 today. I was at Pok Pok a few days ago and I think all their advertised drink specials cost more than that.

I mean, I spend $3 on gas to get to and from my guy's place, and worry about a traffic stop for all the 22 miles in between. And that's just to pay 400% more than what you folks are talking about, for almost zero choice, to boot.

It's not price that will ultimately kill the black market--it's price + variety and choice.
