I dunno what kind of vapes you guys are using but there's definitely a noticeable weed smell to any of the ones I've been around (flower vapes at least). It's not the same as a bowl or bong or whatever but it's unmistakably weed. Probably not too noticeable out on the street or with a window open but using one in your hotel room will definitely make the room smell, at least for a bit.

I think he was talking about vaping oil cartridges, which are pretty much odorless imo. The flower vapes definitely have a weed smell tho your right.

Vape pens are super discreet and easily hit in public. I live in washington, as long as you are respectful (not in front of the kids, dont blow it in someones face or stand in front of the door to an establishment or something) people DGAF.

Last time I went to Vegas I brought an oil cartridge and wasnt slightly concerned about stroking it on the casino floor. You'll be just fine that way. Also outdoors in the other states seems fine to me as well.

A friend came by with some really good bud and chocolate truffles she makes (with pot obv). So I got that, some coffee, the World Cup is on, it's kinda swampy outside but the dehumidifier has the cabin perfect and buddy buddy Gonzo is chilling with me watching the game.

Im airbnb'ing a cabin on a lake for a couple days. I bought a pen and vape cartridge, which I havent used in a long time. Very pleasant stoney feeling.


Lately its gotten to the point where a single dab causes me mild anxiety. Really ****ing dumb, I haven't dealt with any kind of anxiety pretty much my entire life.

Long term use really messes with anxiety stuff, I wish people would talk about it more.

First time I ever had a panic attack was from smoking two one-hitters of generic chronic. I lay on the couch for an eternity, suffering in the dark until I eventually dozed off. I took a break from herb altogether for about a year and a half.

I've been back on for two years now and haven't come close to that feeling. If I ever have a similar attack, I'll probably say goodbye for a year again.

Pretty sure I never posted about it, but I had my first ever panic attack about a year ago when I took a lot of concentrate oil.

I was super ****ed and the tv started changing colors and ****, and the initial reaction of "oh **** thats not right!" caused my heart to pound as hard as it ever has, so those two things coupled together lead me to call 911! Lol. Me trying to focus to give my address made me calm down, and I realized I had calmed down before anyone was dispatched, thank ****ing Christ.


I haven't got to that point, but lately its a thought loop that the things the cannabis is making me feel (the same stuff ive been feeling and havent been bothered by for two years now) is something going wrong internally, my body is getting ****ed up and perhaps about to shut down. Logically I know this is not the case, and it does keep me calm and levelheaded, but its sure not fun when I cant get those thoughts out of my head.


I know that until I can work through this issue, my psychonaut research is being put on hold. I know i couldn't handle feeling disconnected from my body.


I just want my thought processes to be altered, not my physical sense of self. Which is ****ing dumb because thats what drugs are.

i always felt like (hoped) that smoking was giving me an arena to learn how to crush anxiety. i think it’s caused my sober state to be less anxious, although it could be unrelated as i’ve grown to be symbiotic with internal optimism. bottom line is that unpleasantness begets isolation and depression and it really sux when it starts hijacking cannabis use. especially at night.

I have suffered from anxiety off and on, sometimes quite severely, although I haven't had a bad episode in like a year. I don't feel like cannabis makes it worse. Better if anything. A few times I've had minor anxiety attacks after smoking but I'm just like "that's cool brain, how about we discuss this when I'm not on drugs?". I feel like it's made me better at handling anxiety when sober because it's made it clear to my subconscious that there is no real problem other than my state of mind, if that makes sense.

That said, I'm not a particularly heavy nor long term user and people react differently to it.

It's probably some kind of neighborhood customer discount but yesterday I bought an eighth of pretty decent flower for $14 in Portland. No 50% off everything but prices are definitely inching down.

Im trying to use the offical weed business in my area to support it and give tax dollars. Its a kick in the teeth though when its 30% tax and just popcorn nugs. I can get a better bag for a better price from a friend. They got nice variety though. Theres some nice gs13 floating around the bay.

Yeah the taxes in CA are indeed pretty brutal. Apparently this, along with so few legal operators due to massive restrictions on licenses, has made CA fall way short on the tax revenue expected. Most people who had a connect before are just sticking with the black market.
