Yes. Well, you shouldn't be disappointed anyway. I tend to get the live resin more often than not, though I admittedly don't know much about it. It was recommended, I got it, I enjoyed it. That's enough knowledge for me.

Not in cartridge form. It seemed a bit gimmicky to me.

What's the difference?

From my research to make live resin they flash freeze the flower before the process begins which results in a different product with more flavor. The packages say it's like 80% thc.

How strong is a dab compared to a bowl of decent flower, subjectively? I'm on night 3 of a break after maybe like 1.5 to 2 months smoking a bowl or 2 every night. None during the day tho. Really hard to know how consumption stacks up with weed. I know most of you have a bunch more than that. Anyway thought I might get some insomnia since I've had a little on breaks before, but no ill effects whatsoever.

Dabbing is a bit peculiar, hard to compare to flower. It tends to be a rush, striking in waves, and is very cerebral. It has a different electricity to it, if that makes sense. I find the first dab to be similar to flower in that I'm asking myself, "Am I stoned? This feels cool...", but after that it diverges pretty hard.

Most cartridges seem akin to a potent sativa flower. But when you start dealing in concentrates and blow torches it's a new animal.

Humble brag: did not burn myself much in a solid year of dabbing. One time I almost dabbed the mouth piece and kissed the burning quartz, would have been less comical had I followed through on that.

First time I did a dab at my friends I was drunk and burned myself real good having no clue what I was doing. That wasn't too pleasant.

Lol. Just a few days ago I was wondering if anyone has done that.

i have been taking small doses of edibles before sleep pretty consistently for the last two months, and have had not had any for the last 3 days (OOT with the rents for the holiday) and i am on ~3 hours of sleep that is comprised of 15 minutes of sleep at a time followed by laying in bed.

When i was in HS my friends and I procured 50 grams of pure DXM and experimented with dosing levels.

If i were to do it again i would just never touch the stuff. It has really strong dis-associative properties so you feel like your head is floating above your body looking at it, which can be fun but you also are pretty incapacitated.

first day of legal in California, I have been sick for like four days so I went and loaded up on thc soda and gummies, what's the guideline for edibles as far as thc dosing? Each soda bottle is 100 mg and each gummies is 20mg. I figure 5 gummies and a soda to start, I'm a heavy dabber so I'm not worried about being too high just don't want to be redundant

I dunno, 200mg seems like overkill to me. I feel pretty good at 10mg and can do 20mg but with that I usually have a few minutes where I feel a little too high and have to talk myself through it. But then I'm a pretty light user so my tolerance is likely way less than yours.

If you asked our boy Bighurt he'd probably say go for it all! But he might be after a different experience than you want to have.

Maybe try some gummies and check in with yourself after 2 hours and see how you feel. You can always take more but you can't "untake" them.

Edit: Just want to add that it seems like 10mg is considered a standard dose around here. That does seem to be kind of a newb-targeted amount though.

i settled on 200 trip report to follow. so far feeling pretty good i had to cut my dabs back to nearly nothing because each one felt like i was setting my lungs and throat on fire. feeling pretty good right now watching citrus bowl and laxxin

200 is probably good for a guy like yourself. I so wish i could get really high on standard edible doses. My last was 760mg, and it was ok. The problem ive found is I either get little effects, or its so much that im nauseous. The nausea sucks, but at that level youre legit having a psychedelic experience.
