I tried to have a break a little while ago but it didn't take. I now only have enough left for tonight, maybe two nights. I'm not going to buy any more for a while after that as an enforced break. Being illegal here, it's not as simple as going to a shop and buying more, so I'll have more than just willpower preventing me from jumping back in. Gonna go until New Year's, probably.

Day 3 of my break. Haven't slept since Sunday night. I don't remember having insomnia like this ever during any of my past breaks. **** is ****ing horrible. Crawling out of my skin and have lost all motivation, also my appetite. I have no interest in food. All past breaks were after vaping strictly flower. Been on the cartridge train for the last year and a half. You'd think I was trying to kick an opiate habit.

I went to training for a new job back in late November in Utah, didn't even bring a vape pen with me. I went a whole 7 days without weed and literally got about 2 hours of solid sleep a night for about 5 days and maybe 3-4 the last two nights. I also lost close to 8lbs that week. Food tasted terrible. I could chew but had to muscle down every bite.

It's done wonders for my tolerance though. I actually get to the point where I'm terrified if I smoke too much. I haven't been like that in about 4 years.

A break from weed out of not being able to afford to toke up sounds like pure hell.

Yeah, insomnia and loss of appetite are pretty normal, but yours sounds pretty extreme. Try some Zzzquil or other sleep aid as suggested.

- Meditate
- Sex

Vistaril is a prescription anti-histamine that can do wonders for sleep or mild anxiety.

Yeah so the first 4 nights were straight up sleepless. Last few I've been able to sleep with melatonin but still a ***** getting there. Also last 3 nights I've dreamed about weed or people taking my stash. Otherwise feeling pretty normal at this point.

Buddy dropped off some green crack over the weekend. Not sure when I'll get to it tho. Prob gonna be a couple months.

No, but worth knowing (if it's not in the doco, which it probably is) that the Peruvian sacred brew Ayahuasca is the same stuff. DMT is normally inactive orally, Ayahuasca bundles it with a MAOI that stops it being broken down.
